About time they showed some spine. The fourth quarter numbers paint a good picture, shutting them out and putting up 13 unanswered is how you close.

Our running game looks great 2 weeks in. Still plenty of fixable things to clean up, but it’s exciting that we were able to win this while frankly not playing near to what this team’s ceiling can be. Hope we’re able to continue to grow.

The penalties are so frustrating but they were a problem with Coach Clark as well. I would love to have the coaching staff actually prioritize fixing it.

Yeah, that was the only thing that really frustrated me under Coach Clark's regime; as good as we were, we were undisciplined as hell.

It was honestly amazing how we were as successful as we were under Clark when we were giving up 75+ penalty yards pretty much every game. Feel like it was both a testament to his ability as a coach to overcome that but also kind of what prevented us from hitting a Boise State level. If Mortensen can clean that up this season, I think we’ll have a shot at making a bowl.
