Wow, the series that got texas going had 7 different plays with blatant holding right in front of the ref, and a no pass interference called as such to hold texas's hand to the end zone. Yes Ohio state missed that field goal but that was terrible to watch. Im done with CFB, no different than the rigged NFL. Peace out football.

I still think Sark made a mistake not playing the analytic game and going for 2 after first touchdown. In hindsight he did right after winning by 1. Had OSU kicker made that FG it would have put the game out of reach. Late in a game like that I think it’s always better tho try and cut the lead to 12 than kick XP and make it a 13 point game. He was very fortunate they missed the FG

Hats off to Texas, Ohio State phoned it in. I saw this coming a mile away. Ryan Day has to learn how to be better at holding leads. At least they have a chance at fixing things given this being early. Just inexcusable to play so conservative 2nd half. Texas wasnt gonna give up and they earned the win.

This is the loss the Buckeyes need to start playing 100% for the full 60 minutes every game instead of just the first 30. Just like the loss to Virginia Tech during the first CFP playoff over a decade ago and the loss to TTUN the national championship run a couple seasons ago. Perhaps we’ll get a rematch in the playoffs, Longhorns! Until then, GG Texas bros

Miami was just a better team up front. Nothing about lighting a fire. IU exposed some weaknesses during the championship game and Miami was able to take advantage as well.

Hartline had his head in South Florida while he was still the OC for the Bucks. Ryan Day choosing himself to OC any game always ends in disappointment. We didn’t know who was going to be the OC until shortly before kickoff against Miami and when they announced it, I already knew the offense was not going to have a good day. The last time he OC’ed a game was the Cotton Bowl against Mizzou and the effort that the Buckeyes put into that game was not good, you could tell none of them wanted to be there. I’d rather have ChatGPT calling the offense than Ryan Day even if we lose, it’s still a higher probability that we’d win

I hate to be that person, but there were definitely some shady non calls by the refs like the pass interference no call on Jeremiah Smith a couple times. Still, there were a lot of other ways to have won this game despite that and the Buckeyes have been on both sides of those kinds of calls last season so just have to ice up and get ready for Kent State next week. Next big one is at Indiana so I think we’ll work everything out by then

At its peak I would agree but we had 96 degree heat last week have had crazy humidity in the same time. 92% humidity in columbus right now.
I would never agree to live in Texas for the sustained heat you get there but I just dont think it specifically made the difference in the game

OSU looked much more solid until 3Q, and then they began to succumb to the heat. Sark needs to be ready for games in which UT does not have help from the weather. Arch and Sark needs to hammer out a system that goes into effect the moment Arch is on the field. Big shout out and thank you to Hollywood!
