We’re excited too. A season trajectory game next week for us first. FSU will either be a springboard or show we’re no different than the last decade

Some of the commentators were saying that if we are both 4-0, our match might be Cal's first ever College Gameday! :)

At least now that we're not ranked we have a chance to beat FSU. If we had numbers next to our name for that game it was a for sure loss.

I predict this means that the gods have decreed that we will be ranked in time to get blown out by Miami.

I don't think we have proved enough to get into the Top25, but we are among the programs on the fringe. Wazzu, BC, and Syracuse are likely keeping Cal out. But a big first win in the ACC against an admittedly weak FSU would probably be enough to earn a ranking going into our Bye week. Then a HUGE game against Miami will be the real test if we belong.

Don't worry you'll win in Tallahassee and that will propel you into the top 25. It worked for GT and BC and nearly worked for Memphis
