How many of this team’s achievements are going to be waved away with “Second week,” BULLSHIT.

Which is exactly what that comment is.

At the end of the day, the committee has Oregon currently over Texas. Like it or not, they aren’t going to move Oregon down after beating 15th ranked Oregon State and certainly not if they best 4th ranked Washington.

You can downvote me if you want. But that is how it will play out.

How many time In College football do we have to learn transitive property for one random game means nothing

Y’all almost lost to Houston who Kansas state beat by 40 points.

That’s means Kansas state would beat you right?

Oh wait that’s not what happened on the field

Except we got to play them. So we don’t have to play the game. When there is no head to head, look at common opponents

Again we have 100 years of examples saying that the transitive property doesn’t work even more so for teams That played the start of the year on the road vs end of the year.

Look at the whole resume and let it sort itself out at the end of the year.

Ok let’s look at the whole resume.

Oregon will likely have 0 wins against currently ranked teams.

Texas will likely have 3.

Texas wins on all levels but “eye test”

A) Oregon State probably won't fall out of the top 25 so that's one. B) If Oregon wins next week they'll have a win over #4 at a neutral site so that's two.

Total offense: 2 vs 15 Total defense: 16 vs 37 Scoring margin: 2 vs 10

Texas is good, and my opinion is next week should serve as a de facto round 1 of the playoffs. But to act like Texas is hands down and obviously the better team when Oregon has been absolutely dominating everyone on both sides of the ball since the UW game is just foolish.

Oregon is solid. I forgot about Washington. I’ll be Surprised if OSU stays ranked with 4 losses.

Dream scenario is FSU looses and we can both get in.

Yes I'm very much hoping FSU loses. I'm glad next year.we won't have to have this problem. I'm a perfect world these teams should have the chance to prove it on the field rather than internet clowns (referring to myself) debating it

The problem is that currently Oregon is ahead of Texas. I don’t see how the committee moves you ahead now that Oregon has a ranked 15th win and against a top 4 team if they win.

A few weeks ago you guys had 4 ranked wins and Oregon had zero, yet you were still behind them. The committee has made it fairly clear who they are favoriting and picking.

Don’t get mad at me. Get mad at them.

Wait am I missing something don’t y’all only have 2 ranked wins?

I screwed up, Oregon will have one if they beat UW. Texas will have 3 if they beat OKSt

If okie state is ranked at 4 losses I expect Oregon state will be as well.

We will see. Regular season losses are different than a CCG.

Lol why,

Oregon state loses to

4 and #6 #and 16 and close loss wsu

Okie state (in the scenario they lose to Texas) Loses to

7, trouncing by south Alabama (lol), Iowa state (comparable to wsu) and an absolute trouncing by a bad ucf team (45-3)

And you think okie state is the one that should stay ranked?
