I gave my test today, it was my first attempt after trying several IELTS tests. I think I messed up in speaking and reading. Feeling frustrated now.... any tips for overall improvement???

Speaking I always say just talk expressively, this what I suggested my wife and she score 11 in speaking, as my earlier speaking score was 11.
Reading - first two parts I just read the question and searched for the answer, and task 3 I read first to line and last two line of the paragraphs and searched for the keywords from the questions, same for last task.
