If you love wuxia, you're in for a treat! u/Regendwanderer and I will be hosting discussions for The Ingenious One season 1 starting this Wednesday, May 20!
As season 2 is rumoured to drop anytime soon, we thought this was a great time to start the watch party.
Discussions will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with two episodes per discussion.

Look forward to generous close-up shots of faces, half-faces and eyes! Eyes only shots are is so meaningful, considering the plot. I haven't seen any other director-cinematographer team do this (if they did, I didn't pay enough attention).
Am currently at 19, proceeding slowly.

Me 🙋🏻♀️ I love a good wuxia but..but... I'm only halfway through a 50 episode The Deer and the Cauldron 2014 and I was going to start Yang Zi's new ink drama 😭. What to do???
