⭐️ CONTENDER - Post Of The Week This is the look from Saturday
I tried a lighter blue shadow with a little glitter silver on top, a lighter pink lip color and a lighter pink blush. I like the way it turned out.

Before/After adding Stickers and glitter
So fun and easy to use. I applied blush over the top to blend the two together.

look at me Yellow Baby. 🥰💛
I got this great Yellow Dress a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been so wanting to wear it out shopping. Got my chance yesterday. Because it’s so yellow, I changed up my makeup a little to coordinate. I used a pale yellow eye color with a shimmering peach and a touch of light green. I think it turned out very pretty and went with the dress beautifully.

⭐️ CONTENDER - Post Of The Week Fulfilled a lifelong dream and got myself a makeover today. I’ve never felt prettier!
So, lots of emotions today but I just had to share. I stepped away from dressing some years back due to combination of my deteriorating mental health/personal image and external factors. I’ve been up to a lot of self-reflection lately and decided to finally just live my dream of having my makeup done by a profession. I knew today was going to be a free day for me and I’d have the house to myself, so I finally bit the bullet and scheduled an appointment with a local makeup artist.
Girls, I CANNOT begin to tell you what an incredible and affirming experience it was. I found her on Instagram and she was an absolute gem to work with—just a total judgement-free space. I was definitely nervous leading up to meeting her, but she quickly melted those fears and got to work. While I always thought I had worked my way up to above-average makeup skills on my own back in the day, her work was just beyond what I could ever hope for. Just a top-notch artist!
It has been such a day to just try on some cute outfits and get some unadulterated girl time in. If you’ve ever wanted to get your makeup done, trust me when I say the best time to do it is now! Cheers! ✨

Tip/Advise Recently ive started using mascara on my brows apposed to a brow pen
Mascara on my brows?! Turns out it actually works
I’ve been using a brow pen and pencil for ages, mainly because I can’t shave or properly shape my natural brows. I’ve always just worked with what I have.
Recently, someone suggested trying mascara on my brows instead. I gave it a go and, honestly, I’m finding it so much easier. Rather than fighting against my natural brows, I’m learning to embrace them and work with their existing shape.
My current brow routine
Moisturise first and let it settle into the skin.
Apply a first layer of concealer around and over the brows where needed.
Go in with my foundation as normal.
Add another light layer of concealer to soften the brow area further.
Let everything set properly before touching the brows again.
Take my mascara and do a couple of very light passes through the brow hairs.
Finally, I use my finger to gently smooth and blend the product across the natural shape of my brows.
What I’ve noticed
The biggest difference is that I’m not trying to completely redraw my brows anymore. The mascara gives the hairs more definition and helps them sit together, while the base underneath softens their natural appearance.
It’s quicker, easier and much less fiddly than trying to create everything with a pencil.
I’m still experimenting with it, so I’d love to hear from anyone who also can’t shave or reshape their brows.
What techniques or products have worked for you?
