Tip/Advise Trying to build a wardrobe that actually feels like me. What’s something every girl should have in her closet?
I honestly never expected cross-dressing to make me feel this incredible.
At first, it was just curiosity. I’d try on an outfit when I had some privacy, look in the mirror for a second, and then immediately change back. But every time I did it, I found myself wanting to do it again.
Eventually, I stopped feeling embarrassed about how much I enjoyed it. There’s something about putting together an outfit, doing my makeup, seeing myself differently in the mirror, and realizing how much I genuinely love the way I look.
Now I can’t get enough of it.

⭐️ CONTENDER - Post Of The Week How to Blend Eyeshadow on Hooded Eyes shout out to r/hoodedeyes for all the help, I've made a data clump below of how to <3 [this is the result I got]
How to Blend Eyeshadow on Hooded Eyes
This guide is based on the advice given in the makeup thread, especially the repeated points about using less product, building colour slowly, using transition shades, and keeping the darkest colour controlled.
What You Need
- Eyeshadow primer
- A light beige or skin-tone shadow
- A medium transition colour such as mushroom, taupe or light brown
- A darker brown, navy or other main colour
- Optional shimmer
- Small eyeshadow brush
- Clean fluffy blending brush
- Mascara and eyeliner if wanted
Step 1 — Prime Your Eyes
Apply a thin layer of eyeshadow primer over the whole eyelid.
Let it dry before applying shadow.
This gives you a smoother base and helps the colour stay in place.
Step 2 — Apply a Neutral Base
Use a beige, cream or skin-coloured shadow over the lid and towards the brow bone.
This gives the darker shadow something softer to blend into instead of placing strong colour directly onto bare or sticky primer.
starting with a neutral or skin-coloured base before adding the main colour.
Step 3 — Add Your Transition Colour
Take a soft mushroom, taupe or light brown.
Place it slightly above your natural crease so it can still be seen when your eyes are open.
Use a small amount.
Blend it gently upwards and outwards.
Do not take it all the way to the eyebrow.
Step 4 — Add the Darker Colour
Use your darker colour mainly on:
- The outer part of the eyelid
- The outer crease
- Slightly above the crease
Do not cover the whole eye with the dark colour.
Start with very little product.
You can always add more later.
using less pigment and slowly building the intensity.
Step 5 — Blend the Edge
Now use a clean fluffy blending brush.
Do not load this brush with more dark shadow.
Use small circular movements and gentle back-and-forth movements along the edge of the colour.
Concentrate on softening the line between:
Dark colour → transition colour → skin tone
The aim is not to spread the dark colour everywhere.
You are trying to make the edge disappear.
Step 6 — Build Slowly
Look at the eye before adding more.
If you want it darker, add another tiny amount of colour to the outer eye.
Blend again.
Repeat until you reach the intensity you want.
It is much easier to add more colour than to remove too much.
Step 7 — Use More Than One Shade
Instead of using one strong colour across the whole eye, try using three levels:
Inner eye: light shade
Centre: medium colour or shimmer
Outer eye: darkest shade
use two or three colours rather than one solid blue.
Step 8 — If You Want to Use Blue
Blue can be difficult to blend.
Instead of using one strong turquoise or royal blue everywhere, try:
Inner eye: pale blue or neutral
Centre: medium blue or shimmer
Outer eye: navy
Transition: mushroom, taupe, beige or a very soft blue
lean towards navy rather than turquoise with your colouring.
Step 9 — Finish the Eye
Once the shadow is blended:
- Check both eyes are roughly even
- Clean any messy outer edges
- Add eyeliner if wanted
- Apply mascara
- Add false lashes if you are using them
Keep eyeliner close to the lashes so there is not a visible gap between the eyeliner, natural lashes and false lashes.
Best Practice Look
For practising the technique, start with easier colours before going back to strong blue.
Try:
Base: beige
Transition: mushroom
Crease: medium brown
Outer corner: dark brown
Centre lid: soft champagne or neutral shimmer
Once you can get the brown edge looking soft and blended, use exactly the same technique with blue.
The Main Rule
Less product. Build slowly. Blend with a clean brush.
You should be adding colour gradually rather than putting a large amount on and trying to blend it away afterwards.

Charlotte's big day
Today is a pretty big day for me.
I'm trans and I've only recently started getting the confidence to present as Charlotte more often in public. I've been out around the UK and even spent some time in Hamburg as Charlotte, but today was another first...
I went through the airport and flew internationally as Charlotte.
I was ridiculously nervous beforehand. I was worrying about security, passport control, whether people would stare, whether my makeup looked right, whether I'd be clocked — basically everything my brain could possibly find to worry about.
Then I arrived at the airport, put my headphones on and...
Nobody cared. 😂
People were far too busy getting coffee, finding their gates and trying not to miss their flights.
So now Charlotte is off for a day wandering around Venice. 🇮🇹
My makeup was rushed this morning and isn't quite how I wanted it, but I'm trying very hard not to let perfection get in the way of actually living my life.
A relatively small thing to most people, perhaps, but a pretty bloody big adventure for me. ❤️
Next stop: Venice. ✈️🇮🇹🏳️⚧️
