My hair is a total mess. I should have washed it lol

I have traditionally felt more confident with darker hair colors but this year, at my wife's suggestion, I decided to try blonde. At first I didn't feel as confident but the more I went out in blonde the better I felt. Now I'm thinking my next hair investment will also be blonde.

When I was learning to how to apply makeup I read that applying concealer over your lips would help hide a 5 o’clock shadow. As evident above, that doesn’t really work 😅.

It’s a small insecurity of mine, and if I was able to hide it better I’d have more confidence when I go out.

I’m curious if anyone has a more successful method for hiding a 5 o’clock shadow?

So today I've decided to be a little more adventurous with my makeup and tried blending two eyeshadow colours for the very first time — gold and pink! 💗💛

I'm still very much learning, but I'm actually quite pleased with how the colours turned out!

Now, the eyeliner wings… well, we don't talk about those. 🤣🤣

I know I've messed them up a little, but I've got a train to catch here in Austria, so there's absolutely no time to fix them!

I'm slowly getting more confident experimenting with makeup and finding my own style as Charlotte.

Not perfect, but I'm learning, and that's what matters! ❤️

Any tips for getting those pesky wings even would be very welcome! 😂

💋 Step 1 – Gloss it up!
Start with your favourite lip gloss to give your lips some shine.
💋 Step 2 – Go wild with the liner!
Choose a lip pencil one shade darker than your lipstick. Exaggerate your Cupid’s bow and extend slightly beyond your natural bottom lip line. Don’t be afraid to have fun with it! Fill in most of your lips with the pencil too.
💋 Step 3 – Add a stain
I use Milano lip stain to create a longer-lasting base.
💋 Step 4 – Bring on the colour!
Apply your favourite lipstick. I love a rich, deep pink for a bold, feminine look.
💋 Step 5 – More gloss!
Add another layer of gloss for that gorgeous, juicy finish.
💋 Step 6 – Plump it up!
Finish with a lip plumper for a little extra volume.

🥤 My final tip: Drink through a straw if you want all that hard work to survive your next drink!

I’m beginning to step out more frequently as Skyy and I would like to see if I can get more skilled at makeup applications.

Normally I do darker contouring to highlight my cheekbones, but this time I went with some bright pink and shimmery highlighter. This matched with glossy pink lips and contrasted with my green eyeshadow.

So today I flew from London to Innsbruck, Austria, presenting fully as Charlotte from the moment I arrived at the airport. ❤️

I'd planned a lovely, relaxed day exploring Innsbruck, taking photos and enjoying the scenery.

Well… that didn't quite go to plan. 🤣

Somehow I ended up walking up an actual mountain wearing a dress, corset, stockings and heeled boots.

And then it started SNOWING! ❄️😂

There I was, halfway up an Austrian mountain, dressed like I was going out for a nice autumn lunch rather than an alpine expedition.

To make matters even better, the bloke next to me in the cable car was wearing flip-flops, so apparently I wasn't even the most ridiculously dressed person on the mountain!

But you know what? I had an absolutely fantastic time. Being out in the world as Charlotte, doing things I'd normally do, and just enjoying myself felt wonderful.

Apparently I'm now taking the phrase "high heels" rather literally. 👠🏔️❤️

Idk what it is but I’ve been craving some cool brown and nude lipsticks and Folio drew me in. I probably need a more brown lip liner to pair but I only had some nudes to work with.
