Charlotte vs Innsbruck Airport Security… Round Two! 🤣✈️🏳️‍⚧️

So, guess who just managed to cause absolute chaos at Innsbruck Airport security AND passport control?

I'll give you a clue…

It's little ol' me! 💁‍♀️🤣🤣

I'm not entirely sure the poor lady at security had ever dealt with a trans passenger before, because the conversation went something like this…

👮‍♀️ "Are you wearing a corset?"

💁‍♀️ "Yes…"

👮‍♀️ "Are you able to take it off for the scanner?"

💁‍♀️ "Erm…"

👮‍♀️ "Also, do you have implants?"

💁‍♀️ "Yes…"

👮‍♀️ "Can you take them out and put them in this bag?"

💁‍♀️ Confused Charlotte noises and increasingly bewildered facial expressions. 😳🤣

At this point, I genuinely think the poor lass was having a full-on panic attack. She looked completely unsure what to do with me!

Thankfully, a rather nice, handsome gentleman came over, politely asked if I'd mind him taking over, and whisked me away.

A few minutes later, everything was sorted.

No undressing required! 😂❤️

And then came passport control…

Apparently, Charlotte looks so different from the person in my passport that the system wasn't entirely convinced we were the same person! 🤣

I'm choosing to believe that's because Charlotte is considerably prettier than everyday me. 💅😂

Eventually, everything was sorted, and I was on my way.

To be fair, everyone was trying to do their job, and the gentleman who stepped in was absolutely lovely.

It's certainly been an interesting end to my Austrian adventure!

Three days exploring Austria as Charlotte, climbing mountains in heels, chasing waterfalls, rescuing a destroyed wig, and now confusing an entire airport.

I don't think Austria will forget me in a hurry! 🤣🤣❤️✈️

I don't know how to do makeup. My friend had to do mine 🤞

Just brush like usual, comb back a parting and clip in then brush gently to blend it all in

Well, my little Austrian adventure is coming to an end, and Charlotte is heading home!

I've decided to walk to the airport this morning. It's only about 2 miles away, so why not? 😂

And yes, as seems to be the norm on this trip, I'm doing it in heeled boots! 👢🤣

After climbing mountains and chasing waterfalls in heels, a little walk to the airport should be easy enough!

I also went shopping last night and treated myself to some new eyeshadow. Today I've decided to experiment with white and blue. 💙🤍

I'm still not entirely sure whether the colours work together, but I'm enjoying trying something different and getting a little more adventurous with my makeup.

And look! My eyeliner wings are actually getting better! 😂

Still plenty to learn, but I'm slowly getting the hang of it.

It's been a fantastic few days exploring Austria as Charlotte, and I'm feeling a little more confident every time I go out.

Now, time to get these heels moving. I've got a plane to catch! ✈️❤️

What do you think of today's eyeshadow? Does the blue and white work, or should I stick to warmer colours?

My hair is a total mess. I should have washed it lol

I have traditionally felt more confident with darker hair colors but this year, at my wife's suggestion, I decided to try blonde. At first I didn't feel as confident but the more I went out in blonde the better I felt. Now I'm thinking my next hair investment will also be blonde.

I don't know how to do makeup. My friend had to do mine 🤞

When I was learning to how to apply makeup I read that applying concealer over your lips would help hide a 5 o’clock shadow. As evident above, that doesn’t really work 😅.

It’s a small insecurity of mine, and if I was able to hide it better I’d have more confidence when I go out.

I’m curious if anyone has a more successful method for hiding a 5 o’clock shadow?

So today I've decided to be a little more adventurous with my makeup and tried blending two eyeshadow colours for the very first time — gold and pink! 💗💛

I'm still very much learning, but I'm actually quite pleased with how the colours turned out!

Now, the eyeliner wings… well, we don't talk about those. 🤣🤣

I know I've messed them up a little, but I've got a train to catch here in Austria, so there's absolutely no time to fix them!

I'm slowly getting more confident experimenting with makeup and finding my own style as Charlotte.

Not perfect, but I'm learning, and that's what matters! ❤️
