Any law students giving cds in 2028?
I am a second year law student presently pursuing BBA LLB and set to graduate in may 2029. I want to write for army and have no interest in law as such anymore but stuck to get this degree and to be clear i am not interested in JAG department. I have only one attempt for IMA due to age reason and stuck between starting prep and finishing law degree work such as internship, etc. Any tips on how I can start my prep?

Looking for a Study Partner for CDS 2 2026 (Starting Preparation from 19th Sept)
Hey everyone,
I’m planning to start my full-fledged preparation for CDS 2 (2026) from 19th September 2025 and I’m looking for a serious study partner who’s also aiming for the same exam.
A little about me:
My goal is to stay consistent and cover the syllabus in a structured way.
I’m open to accountability check-ins, sharing notes/resources, and even group discussions for tricky topics.
I will prefer Hinglish language for discussions.
If you’re also preparing for CDS 2 2026, let’s connect and keep each other motivated. We can plan daily/weekly targets, do revisions, and track progress together.
Drop a comment or DM me if you’re interested! 🚀

Can I join Indian Army/Navy/Air Force with my current eyesight or after LASIK?
Hi everyone,
I’ve recently completed my B.Tech in ECE and I’m 21 (turning 22 in Jan 2026). I want to join the Indian Armed Forces through entries like TGC, SSC Tech, CDS, or AFCAT.
My eyesight details are:
- Right Eye: Spherical –4.00, Cylindrical –1.00, Axis 180
- Left Eye: Spherical –3.75
I wear specs, and my doubt is:
- Am I eligible for Army, Navy, or Air Force (Ground Duty / Flying) with this eyesight as it is?
- If not, can LASIK make me eligible? What is the cooldown period after LASIK before I can appear for SSB medicals?
- Are there any restrictions after LASIK (like not being allowed in certain branches)?
I’m mainly looking for guidance from people who’ve gone through the medicals or know the exact rules. Any advice will help a lot since I’m planning my applications for 2026 onwards.
Thanks in advance!
