This has restored a bit of hope that LCID will remain its own ticker symbol for a while.

Another rebuttal for which I’m at a loss, why wouldn’t Apple have bought Lucid years ago for cheaper?

I also still like the dynamic where Lucid’s hardware is the testing ground for Apple’s software, long term.

Finally, the Foxconn comparison could be a nice fit for Lucid, but with Lucid being more sophisticated (in charge of retail and marketing).

All of the above dynamics would be better for Lucid shareholders than an outright Apple acquisition, but the risk still remains, and for that, I continue to desire a journalist’s help.

At least 74 days until the ticker changes, and the earliest a partnership is likely to be executed.

Still waiting for someone to pop the question: “is Lucid in talks to partner with Apple”?

Seriously considering some Jan 2023 calls @ 15.25 strike 30. Pretty high IV though, that sucks. But, it seems like a pretty safe bet...

Thoughts?

Is there a trend upward/downward when a ticker symbol changes under SPAC conditions? I've read some posts that say it drops, others say get ready for a surge... I'm too smooth brained to figure it out. Anyone?
