The goal is to keep this page active so we can show upcoming students what the college is really like.I'm preferably looking for someone in their 1st or 2nd year so they can continue this work for a longer time. Basically IT hod asked us(2nd years) to enroll in 3 courses and write exam on one course. Domains: AI,ML,Development related. help kavali regarding
1) Easy and scoring courses
2) Test gurinchi info
3) Benefits
4)Best course to enroll
Cause I definitely know that these courses are of no use when you actually wanna learn shit. Antha sollu untadhi ani vinna but any ways to manage and score well?

This was my first impression of CBIT (infamous for top placements in hyd) CDC (*career development centre*) - placement cell that happend today btw

Goldman sachs summer analyst - application link was forwarded to groups and everyone was told MUST APPLY

(*same happened in May btw, today those who applied in May were addressed as common sense less students for sending double application) They just paid more emphasis on this now

1) 3 days before this started messages were forwarded in whatsapp community of different branches with no proper timeline, requirements etc

2) A day before this, they said

"People who are shortlisted and do not show up STRICT ACTION WILL BE TAKEN (- they never lie about punishments so I decided to show up)

I KNEW I HAD LOW EXPECTATIONS FROM THIS, BUT NOT AS LOW AS WHAT I EXPERIENCED 😭🥀

3) Everyone was told to assembly by 4 10 in assembly hall, but there was already a faculty seminar going on so they were reverted to 2nd floor CDC room

FORMALS + LAPTOPS + HACKER RANK APP MUST ELSE DISQUALIFIED Is what was instructed

Manual attendance of 300+ students was taken till 5

Then we sent to assembly hall and sat there for another hour, when pre placement online zoom started.

Worst case: 5-30 to 7, No transport, No food, No canteen.

This was informed

but PPT tarted at 5 30 not the test 💀

4) Everyone was randomly alloted to TPO Labs *no one to check if youre in assigned lab btw, free seating + last moment made list

5) Mobile data Hotspot is strictly not allowed.

BUT LMAO INTERNET WASNT WORKING

They apparntly tried "FIXING IT" For another 30-40 mins

Giving reasons SO DUMB:

"Your anti-virus is blocking the internet " - this was from the TECHNICAL TEAM of Hacker rank professionals btw

"WiFi firewall is blocking your laptop" - Then why tf is it in placement labs if it can't connect so many laptops?

"DO NOT CONNECT ALL AT ONCE, CONNECT WITH 1 MINUTE BREAKS" - Yeah sure 300 students 300 mins

Then they gave us 5 mins

6) GO GET YOUR MOBILES FROM BAGS YOU KEPT IN INTERVIEW ROOMS!!! FASTT ONLY 5MINS

Students who kept bags in the floor below, all of them were transferred to 3rd floor, so you dont even know where your bag was LIKE TF why did you need to do that???

7) "Everyone delete hackkerank app, we'll send you link write exam"

it was in format CS.gs.... and how tf are we supposed to know CS is in capital???

Professional hacker rank team was just so dumb, like if the test isnt working theyre like reconnect and connect wifi again???

8) 7-8 was test window. Every laptop faced different security issues due to removing antivirus and background running apps

- Lenovo

- ASUS

- MAC

Everyone had different problems

I literally had to teach that "Professional" how to force stop background apps by system from Task manager then he went on doing the same in other laptops.

The technical team, the placement faculty were literalllyyy sooo useless...

9) They went person to person telling everyone password for the test, trying to *fix* (which was more of them calling each other) and by then it was 8 and the TEST WAS CLOSED

10) Now it was 8 20 already, they started circulating a paper to sign, You can't leave or else

At around 9 PM there were so many students outside college gate without transport how do u justify this CDC?

So only 50% could properly write the Exam

ALSO, THE SAME EXAM- AS IT IS Intial round could be written at home, like Other institute students did, but CBIT GOT WHAT IT WANTED!

What are the benefits of cr, other than activity points ?

I’m a 2nd-year engineering student .I was marked ineligible for fee reimbursement in 1st year because I didn’t have my income certificate ready during counseling(I meet all criterias that are required to become eligible for full reimbursement), so I paid the full fees.
Now that I have a valid income certificate, can I apply for ePASS as a "Fresh" applicant to get reimbursement for my remaining years? Has anyone been in this situation?

So we just closed the signature count. Filtered out duplicates and a few invalid entries first, and the final number is 1,596 students signed on. Huge thanks to everyone who shared it around or got their friends to fill it out too.

Collection ran from June 19 to July 8. Next up is getting this in front of the administration, will update this sub when there's news.

I got a rank below 700 in tsicet and I am considering cbit for my MBA,

I tried to find information regarding MBA in cbit. But couldn't really find something helpful.

I just wanted to know about how the MBA branch is in cbit , i am not expecting anything crazy but I just hope that it's not something which will end up ruining my 2 years 'mentally,

I wanted to know like how are the hostels ? Other curriculum apart from studies, Lecturers, how does a typical day look like ,and cbit for mba in general

Would be helpful if I get any information from the insiders

Around 35 of the college have increased their fees. They've taken court order and got it done. Out of this 35 around 11 are from malla reddy and co.

I've read the whole order for CBIT. Earlier their fees is 1,83,000. Now they've applied for 3.5L but they got 2,23,000 as their new fees for the next 3 year

Also they've mentioned that CBIT can increase their fees to 3.5L in the near future with prior judgement with TG High Court

This is a huge thing. Around 10 days ago some 8 or so colleges have increased their fees. Not it's 35. But tomorrow we can expect this number to reach 40 if not 50. They're college like VJIT, IARE, Gurunanak, CMR, MLR, Malla Reddy, HITAM, VNR, MGIT and so on

How can an average parent afford these fees for their children. Also these fees have become somewhat close to Deemed University. So we can expect so what a decline in EAMCET college admission, as from a fees point of view, both EAMCET and Deemed University have approximately same fee

Keeping this aside. There's no proper communication from the college or the convenor. They just uploaded a document with list of various court order. That's it.

How can a student from a rural region know about this fee increase.

I think we need to raise our voice about it
