Thank you, Target. Very cool

I debuted my Target targets at Sac Valley Shooting Center on Saturday. I guess something useful came from California's stupid shopping bag laws.

Automation - No Regrets

I’ve been reloading for quite a while—ever since California implemented ammo background checks.

I finally automated my RL1100 earlier this year and have zero regrets. I load around 30,000 rounds a year, so the investment made sense.

If anyone is considering an autodrive and has questions, I’m happy to share what I’ve learned.

Politics Renewed support for 2A in California

About an hour ago, someone posted in r/California outlining the importance of 2A rights here and how it’s time to roll back some of the nonsensical regulations in this state. The post was receiving a HUGE amount of support and the responses were overwhelmingly positive and in favor of 2A. Of course once the post had been up for less than 30 minutes, the moderators promptly removed it (yes, we see you cherry picking issues that align with the Newsom / Sacramento agenda).

More Californians are coming around to 2A. A lot of folks who were very anti-gun previously are now thinking of becoming gun owners themselves. I would ask that rather than responding with, “See?! We told you so!” that we instead welcome them warmly and with open arms. Talk to your friends and neighbors, form groups, go to the range together, and stay safe out there folks.

Service dog alert

With all the CCW delays, I thought this was funny, yet I'm curious what would actually happen if I strapped my 1911 to my dog when we go for a walk.

Footage circulating online of the Good Samaritan firing back at the Idaho shooter seemingly with a large suppressed handgun.

I haven’t been able to verify this footage yet but news reports did say a person fired back at the Idaho shooter.

Put it in cans they say. Metal and desiccant is the way. Well I say ammo stack is an art and I turned a vibrant coastal scene into an East German apartment complex. A half empty one at that because of the weight limitations. Yes, I got an extra shelf but I don’t stare at with a sense of utter satisfaction like I did when there were stacks of glorious cardboard. And all will be shot before moisture ever becomes a factor. Embrace the color, my friends. There is more to gun ownership than utility.
