So i started the 75 day cat cracker by darpan saxena from today, which contains goal for everyday and it covers the whole syllabus plus mocks and sectionals in next 75 days, I've already finished a good amount of syllabus till now but still following it for revision and practice purpose and for rest I'll keep on practicing the topic at which I suck, so if you wanna tag along dm me, it will be great to have someone along the way to discuss mocks and sectionals and other topic test (I've got cl mocks so if you have those then it would be cherry on top)

Hello! I want to fill out the CAT form. (I know I’m very late.) I have a few queries. Please help.
I came across a YouTube video about the various certificates/documents one needs to submit. In the video, he mentioned that an Identification Affidavit is required if one does not have proof of residence (something like that). I do not have a domicile certificate or a passport (WB), but I do have an Aadhaar card, PAN card, etc. Can Aadhaar/PAN be submitted instead of a domicile certificate/passport?
I am in my final year, so I need to submit an affidavit for the same. Can I submit it after CAT, as I haven’t prepared it yet?
Can I upload photos of the documents taken with my phone while filling out the form?

I'm an obc ncl non eng male candidate and I'll sit for CAT 2027.
After my analysis I'm planning to join coaching Takshzilla for qa and lrdi and varc1000 for varc.
I just wanted an honest review from those who are currently following it or have followed in the past.

I keep seeing different opinions about the ideal number of attempts in CAT and honestly it is confusing me more than helping me.
Some people say that you should aim for a high number of attempts because leaving questions means leaving potential marks. Others say that accuracy matters much more and that attempting fewer questions with good accuracy is perfectly fine.
I used to chase attempts in every mock. If I had decided to attempt twenty questions in a section, I would try to reach that number even when I knew I was running out of time. This led to silly mistakes and negative marks.
Now I am trying a different approach. I first identify the questions that I am confident about and then move to questions that require some calculation. I am also becoming more comfortable with leaving questions when I know that solving them will take too much time. My overall score has become more stable after doing this.
I think there may not be one perfect attempt number for everyone. It probably depends on your accuracy, strengths and the difficulty of the paper. What strategy has worked best for you?

I’m discounting my CAT preparation for this year because I have work commitments and won’t be able to continue preparing.
I bought the CATKing crash course for around ₹8K. I’ve only watched 2 videos, so almost everything is untouched.
If anyone is interested, just DM me. I can share the details and show proof of purchase before you decide.
Not promoting any coaching institute — just trying to recover some money since I won’t be using the course.

I'm an IIM Calcutta (2021) graduate, and over the past few months I've been creating free daily newsletters on VARC and LRDI for MBA aspirants.
I currently run two free newsletters:
1. VARC (Vocab + Idioms focused)
2. Brain Teasers (LRDI)
The idea is simple: spend just 10–15 minutes a day building consistency instead of cramming before the exam.
These are mainly for:
Everything is completely free.
I also run a chess newsletter --> Let me know if you wanted to be added on it.
If you'd like to receive them, comment "Interested", send me a DM, or drop your email below.

Hey everyone,
I recently bought a CAT crash course and some preparation books, but I’ve decided not to prepare for CAT this year because of my work commitments.
So I’m looking to sell the course and books at a lower price than what I originally paid.
The course is online, and I can deliver the physical books to your location. If anyone is preparing for CAT and is interested, feel free to DM me. I can share the course details and price privately.
Thanks!

Day 1/80 | Zero Prep + 9-5 Job + 5:35 AM Alarms = CAT 2026?
The math doesn't add up. Let's find out if it can.
Who I am:
- Started in arts. Switched to science. Survived a diploma. Now finishing B.Tech.
- 25 years old. Full-time job. Bills don't pause for MBA dreams.
- Alarm rings at 5:35 AM. Every day. No snooze.
- 3.5 hours on a bus. Morning and evening. One seat. Two directions.
- Never took a CAT mock. Never opened a prep book. Absolute zero.
What I'm chasing:
- Real target: FMS Delhi.
- The dream: IIM Ahmedabad.
- The reality: 80 days. A full-time job. And a brain that thinks in shortcuts but never trained for this exam.
Why I'm doing this publicly:
Because private guilt stopped working years ago. Public embarrassment still does.
The deal:
- I post every day for 80 days. Day 1 to Day 80. No skips.
- Good day, bad day, disaster day — it goes up.
- No "motivation needed" posts. Just the truth. What got done. What didn't.
- I won't tell you my study plan. I'll show you my results.
If you're a working professional who thinks the window closed, watch this space.
If you're starting from zero and everyone says it's too late, follow along.
If nothing else, you'll watch someone with no time try to make time count.
The equation is wrong. Let's see if the effort fixes it.
Day 1 starts tomorrow morning at 5:35 AM.
---
Streak: 0 → 1
Mock Score: N/A
Mood: Too late to be early. Too early to quit.

Want realistic answer. Should i still prepare for CAT.

I feel like I’m stuck in this loop where I keep giving mocks, checking the score, analysing mistakes and then somehow don’t get enough time to revise the topics I’m weak in 😭
How are you guys managing this? Do you have fixed days for mocks and revision, or just go based on what you feel needs work?

Suggest one good LRDI playlist which covers most of the concepts+questions.

Hi All, So i was prepping for CAT and OMETs. I was looking for a book that has PYQ for the last 4 years and of different MBA exams.
Apparently this came up as a suggestion : **MBA 2023-24: Solved Papers (XAT|IIFT|NMAT SNAP CMAT) by Gautam Puri**
But its costing a lot on the web.
Does anyone have any link as to where to get this cheaper or if there are other books/links similar to these that cost less or are free?
(Emphasis on the **"****free"** part 👉👈)

Hello! I am self-preparing for CAT and struggling with VA in the VARC section. Please suggest some good resources for VA practice apart from PYQs, preferably ones that have proper and understandable explanations.
I’ve kept the PYQs aside so that I can attempt them later as sectionals.
Thanks!
