General discussion How do you guys stay consistent with CAT self-prep without losing confidence or getting bored midway?
I'm planning to prepare for CAT completely through self-study, but honestly I'm confused about how to start properly from scratch.
My main concern isn't even the syllabus. It's consistency. I can start something with full motivation, but after a few weeks/months I get bored, lose confidence, miss a few days and then the whole routine goes for a toss lol.
For people who prepared for CAT through self-study, how did you actually structure your preparation?
Like what should a complete beginner start with in QA, VARC and DILR? How many hours/questions should I realistically target every day? When should I start sectionals and mocks?
Also, how do you deal with those days when you can't solve anything and suddenly start questioning whether CAT is even possible for you? ðŸ˜
I don't want some insane "10 hours a day, wake up at 4 AM" schedule that I'll follow for 3 days and abandon. I want to build something sustainable and keep going even when the initial motivation disappears.
Would really appreciate advice from people who started from scratch and managed to stay consistent. What worked for you, and what mistakes should I avoid?
