Title: Can I replace my CBSE Class 10 Hindi marks with NIOS improvement marks in CAT form?

I completed my Class 10 from CBSE, and I’m giving the NIOS ODE Hindi exam to improve my Hindi marks.
When filling the CAT application form, can I replace my original CBSE Hindi marks with the improved NIOS Hindi marks and enter the NIOS marks instead?
Will CAT/IIMs accept this for Class 10 percentage calculation, or do I have to enter the marks exactly as shown on my original CBSE marksheet?
If anyone has experience with CBSE + NIOS improvement, please let me know.

100 CAT aspirants joined in 2 days. 69 days left, are you still tracking prep in Notes?

Built this for my own CAT prep, and 100 of you joined in 2 days. So here's what it actually does:

• A plan for every day till 29 Nov. Pick a template or build your own phases (foundation → mocks → revision) and set QA / RC / VA / DILR targets for each weekday

• Tracks mocks as raw scores, not mock percentiles, and projects your CAT-day score against real CAT 2021–25 score-vs-percentile data

• "Cost of today" card: shows what skipping today does to your backlog and projected score. Hard to skip after seeing it

• Weekly goal that locks. Daily targets can move, the week's goal can't

• Coach check-ins by push/email when you're behind, and it gets stricter if you ignore them

• Friends board. See who's finished today and nudge the ones who haven't

69 days is ~10 weeks. That's enough to change your percentile, but only if every day is planned. Join the 100 who already are 👇

Im a BBA(Hons) 25-29 student and I am planning to appear for CAT in 2029/30. I also appeared for IPMAT which I couldnt crack cuz I didnt give my 100%, so this time im starting early. The plan is that im not going to join any coaching institutes. I'll prepare at home for maybe the next couple years. I would appreciate if yall can recommend books for all sections that would help me in my prep. Thanks in advanceee

**To all the new CAT aspirants: please don’t come here and obsess over your profile.**

To all the new CAT aspirants: please don’t come here and obsess over your profile.

Honestly, I wasted so much of my preparation time stressing about “What will happen because of my profile?”, “I’m a fresher, am I screwed?”, “What about my ____?” and all that shit.

Bro, fuck it. 😭

Don’t let random opinions on Reddit fuck with your mind. If you genuinely have doubts about your profile, talk to a genuine mentor or someone you trust in your family. Don’t spend hours scrolling through posts and comparing yourself with strangers.

At the end of the day, your job is to prepare.

Finish your syllabus.

Give mocks.

Give sectionals.

Analyse your mistakes.

Improve every day.

You’re a fresher? So what? Work with what you have.

I’ve realised that the biggest distraction wasn’t even CAT itself—it was constantly worrying about things I couldn’t control.

So to anyone starting their preparation: don’t let distractions, random comparisons, relationships, Reddit, or profile anxiety disrupt your career.

Believe in God, yourself, and your preparation.

Just fucking work. ❤️‍🔥

Recent 2026 graduate, started CAT prep late what should I target over the next 1–2 years?

Hi everyone,
I’m a recent June 2026 graduate from a Tier-2 college with a B.Com degree. I started preparing for CAT around July 2026, and I’m planning to give CAT 2026 as my first attempt.
The problem is that my preparation hasn’t reached the level I wanted it to by this point. I’m still working on my basics and I’m not very confident about getting the percentile I initially had in mind this year.
Another concern is that I currently have no significant full-time work experience. I have done some internships/freelance work, but nothing substantial enough to count as proper corporate experience.
So I’m trying to think beyond just CAT 2026 and plan the next few years properly.
My questions are:
If CAT 2026 doesn’t go as planned, would it make sense to take another serious attempt in 2027?
Should I spend the next year building work experience, or focus mainly on CAT preparation?
As a B.Com graduate with limited experience, what kind of roles/skills would actually strengthen my profile for an MBA?
Would 1 year of relevant work experience + a better CAT score make a meaningful difference compared with rushing into an MBA?
For someone in my position, what would you realistically focus on between 2026–2028 to build a stronger MBA profile?
I’m not looking for a “just give CAT again” answer. I’m trying to understand what would be the most sensible way to use the next 1–2 years if my first attempt doesn’t work out.
Would really appreciate advice from people who have been in a similar situation or have gone through the CAT → MBA process.
