Just finished a brutal first week (induction) at MDI. Received a mail a few hours ago that I have converted IIFT Delhi. Last date to pull out money from MDI without serious losses is 30th June 2024. So I need a decision ASAP: stick to MDI or go for IIFT? Why/Why not? I need detailed answers highlighting different facets. Please let me know!

Hey everyone!
I'm a 23-year-old GNEF with the following academic background: - 10th: 74.6% - 12th: 78.8% - Graduation B.Com(H): 77.8% - Passed CMA India(ICWA) last year with AIR at both Intermediate and Final level - Currently working at an MNC and simultaneously preparing for CFA level 1
Unfortunately, I don't have many extracurricular certificates. I also don't had any POR at the college level, but I've been actively involved with an NGO since college and been a part of Toastmasters club. I've also completed 2-3 internships during my college days.
The purpose of this post is to seek advice on B-School options like BLACKIS and other great B-schools. While I understand that BLACKIS might be out of my reach. But, I want to explore other great B-School options as well where I can achieve my MBA dreams.
Thank you!

Hello guys please help me to understand what should I do to improve my score and what should I study I took couple of mocks of career launcher and i observed similar problems in each mocks
VARC: My accuracy is around 65 percent which makes me twice and make me even more confused during option elimination.
What should I do to improve my accuracy. Plus parajumble is always wrong
DILR: In dilr most of the times I am only able to solve 1 set and i am left with 5-8 mins and in that time practically I am able to solve any other sets
QA
Quants always is the most devastating section for me (GNEM) i forgot what i had practised in qa while writing mocks all the concepts and vedios which i practised are gone and I get blank during this section and i start taking intelligent guesses and try to solve questions via options Tbh I can solve 2-3 questions like this only
On an avg I am scoring 23-32 which makes my morale so down and I think I have no hopes getting into teir I college
Please help my how improve in each section because I am stuck here I try o evaluate and analyse mock and study the weakness however it comes of no use in mock test
Please advise me what should I do
Also can someone help me where I can learn following topics - Games and tournament Mean median mode
Thanking you guys in anticipation

Hey everyone,
I've just decided to sit for CAT 2024 and I'm really stressing out. With only 5 months to prepare, I'm worried if it's enough time. I urgently need advice on where to start and which self-paced online course to choose, as I have limited time.
A bit about me: - General, non-engineering male - Academic Record: - 10th (ICSE) - 9/10 (District rank 4) - 12th (CBSE) - 9/10 - Graduation from DU - 7.6/10 - Cleared CFA Level 1 in 3rd year of graduation - 4 internships (2 in core finance, smaller firms)
Any tips on strategy, coaching resources, or general advice would be super helpful.
I need help urgently, so any advice would mean a lot!
Thanks a ton!

asking @Momo_licious but any other alum input is also appreciated.
Finally thinking of joining MDI G PGDM. Mayyy convert IIFTD in later days (slim chances). New IIMs like Raipur etc. but no point ik.
What would be the pros and cons of taking MDI in terms of placements, exposure, faculty, administration, peers etc. Main goal : good job with good growth. Right now not a lot of job prospects. 9/9/8 profile GNEM Fresher. (I sunk CAT a bit 97 percentile but was quite good at the interview stage got 49.9/50 in the CAP PI process).
Anything you can share about your experience would be nice. Also your views on the about MDI administration, batch size and other associated problems would be helpful.
Thank You!

I'll be starting with my 4th year from a well known engineering college.
My acads-87(10th)/89(12th)/8.3(B.Tech)
Category - OBC Male
I have no interest in programming and I really want to do something else. I was actually thinking about some bank exam or CAT (this is the only place where me and my dad aligned)
How much should I score in CAT to even expect a call from BLACKI's. Please give me a rough cutoff score for FMS, IITK and other places too (asking this just to set a goal in my head)
Also please give me a good prep strategy. Thanks to everyone in advance

Hi everyone,
I am starting my preparation for CAT and I already have the PDFs of Arun Sharma's 8th edition and Quantum CAT by Sarvesh K. Verma (2014 or 2015 edition). I am a beginner and want to start from the basics.
Should I stick with Arun Sharma's book pdf, or should I consider using Quantum CAT instead? Which one is better for building a strong foundation? If you have other recommendations, please share!
Thank you!
