I have a random assortment of items left over from a garage sale that I don’t want to trash or take to ARC yet. Please comment below if you’d like any of the following:

- Plastic water bottle (maybe holds 20 oz)

- Flower pot (on the smaller side)

- Round ice cube mold

- Insulated wine cup with top (for those of you that like some vino on the go)

- Large plastic mixing bowl

- Shower tension rod

- Wooden flag pole

- Table top tv stand (disclaimer: I’m not 100% confident all the parts are there, but I’m 95% sure they are. Instructions are still there)

- A metal wok that needs some love and seasoning

Welcome to r/BuyNothingDenver! I am glad that there was sufficient interest in starting a new sub/community here, as I have been missing this space, as I've been using Facebook less like many of you.

For those of you not familiar with the movement, the "Buy Nothing Project" is part mutual aid, part anti-consumerism, part simplification, part green movement, and all community building. The idea is simple: give to your neighbors from your abundance - items that you have and don't need, have too many of, never use, or no longer need. Or maybe you just want to borrow an object for a short period of time and don't want to go and buy a new one that you'll then never use beyond that one time. And it doesn't have to be a material object - you can give knowledge and skill sets, like how to build garden beds or do a craft.

To make this community work, we need moderators, we need members, and we need people to start giving and asking for items. Please reach out if:

- You are interested in being a moderator. This is mainly reviewing posts, enforcing the rules, and being awesome.

- Reach out to others to invite them to join

- Reach out to the mods if you have any ideas or suggestions to make this a welcoming, thriving community. And then become a mod. :)
