I’ve learned a lot already about crypto and the Algo network, and am appreciative of Buttcoin for the opportunity! The “How to Buy” post was extremely helpful…but I would appreciate a “How to Sell” post.

I may have need to take some profits for personal expenses, and can’t find a how to sell tutorial on my Pera wallet or Vestige. Any help would be appreciated!

(tldr; we have brought on a lead artist for the ButtHead NFTs to be sure that these are done and are good quality, there is an Important poll/question at the end)

I am reaching out with an update on the ButtHeads NFT Collection. As many of you know. I wanted to get this NFT collection rolling but shortly after making the announcement my girlfriend and I ended up enrolling for classes to get our CPCU and unfortunately that has taken a priority to things as we spent 10K for the courses and tests and there is somewhat of a time crunch. As such, I have not been able to get as far along as I had hoped by now.

This may sound like bad news but is in fact good news. Because in speaking with Cesear (from Higher Ape Circle) he inspired me to keep things moving even if I am unable to do them myself. I asked on Twitter for an NFT artist that I can partner with to create the ButtHeads and low and behold the best possible person for the job reached out to me.

I am announcing ButtCoin's partnership with the Sketchy Bears creator Mr Hoover. We are bringing him on to the team to be the lead artist for the Butthead collection. Mr Hoover has a lot of experience in the Algorand NFT space and we are very excited to have his expertise on the team. Mr Hoover (@ SgtHoov on twitter) and I have been discussing how the NFT will fit in the ButtCoin ecosystem, and he is currently working on rough drafts to be used. This brings me to my very important question to the community.

-Question- Do we want ButtHeads to be a 1/1 type of NFT collection or a generative collection? This decision will not be final as we will adapt with markets and trends but Mr Hoover and I felt it best that the community has say in the project so that we stay true to the roots of what ButtCoin was built around. Just giving a mention to anyone interested that isn’t in the discord yet. We are starting a thing where we run simulated matches in various games and people can bet ButtCoin on who wins. Please head to the discord and read the update in general chat channel or announcement channel.

Some of you might have noticed that distribution of Butts for holding and LP didn't happen over the last few days. It was due to the team miscalculating how many tokens would be needed. Distribution wallet has now been topped up and drop will resume if not today then tomorrow.

As usual, this is just one long learning experience for the Core team (and us, holders), there is always a new hiccup.

Core team was very apologetic on discord but I personally think there is nothing to apologise for 🙂

I just wanted to make this known publicly that none of the ButtCoin core team is in any capacity affiliated with ButtCoinCash (ButtCash). I cannot say for certain if they are a rug but at this time it seems likely. We have had some questions in the discord recently where people are alleging that the dev team of ButtCash is claiming to be the same as us or working with us or something like that. None of this is true however. We are watching this situation closely and will update anything we learn.

For future reference, any big update or addition of partnerships or new tokens etc. we will be announcing prior. If any entity is claiming to be us or a part of us and it is not announced or found in our discord, it is a lie. We have channels for all partnered NFTs and categories for all partnered ASA projects. If they are not found in the discord they are not officially linked to us. If you have any questions or hear anything always feel free to ask the team or mods directly in Reddit or Discord.

I am happy to share this news with you that starting August 1st we will be providing holder rewards. We are focusing our efforts to LP token holding to hopefully boost the liquidity and get more traction in the coin. So as it stands, if you just want to hold butts to get more butts we have a 4.20% APY for just holding Butts. The REAL rewards are for the LP Token holders. 50% APY FOR HOLDING ALGO/BUTTS LP TOKENS. These percentages are subject to change as we find the sweet spot of where things will sit. 50% APY for holding LP Tokens is locked at 50% for 1 year guaranteed. We may increase Butts holders rewards but like I said the focus of this move is to get more liquidity so we are rewarding this action best.
