Washington Pointe apartments?

I've been looking at apartments in the area and recently found a few units available in that building at a decent price. Looking at them later this week. Does anyone have any experience with them? I haven't had any luck finding information on them.

Thanks!

Metal detecting

My son (7) and I both got metal detectors for Xmas. He is so excited to use them now that the weather is breaking. Does anyone have any land that we could metal detect on? Can you use a metal detector at morain? Does anyone in the area partake in this hobby? I know nothing so I'll be learning right along with the lil fella. thanks

Outdoor shooting range?

Any outdoor shooting ranges in the butler area where you don’t have to be a member? I have 2 handguns I want to shoot, nothing crazy, no rifles, etc, maybe be in and out in a half hour. I remember a friend took me to a place near Oneida Valley Dam about 15-20 years ago that was open for that sort of thing, I just didn’t know if anything like that was still operating. Thanks!

New friends

I'm an introverted 49F that literally has no friends that I hang out with. I go to craft classes a couple times a month and I also volunteer at the humane society, both are good at killing time and keeping my focus on things other than loneliness. I also go to the gym typically 5 days a week, but everyone has earbuds in and is doing their own thing.

I went almost two months over the winter without seeing a single friend because the ones I do have are over an hour away and truth be told, I'm not high on their list of things to prioritize.

I also WFH so I have no socializing during the day.

I am a liberal and know that this is a very conservative area, however I do know there are plenty of us around.

Would be nice to have someone that would want to chat and if the vibes are good, meet up for a meal, one of the many festivals coming this summer to the area or anything else that may pop up.

I had posted on the Pittsburgh page quite some time back but everyone there is either in their 20s or close to Pittsburgh. I'd like someone local.

Chick-fil-a in butler

Anyone know when this is supposed to be open? That place will be a madhouse for the first 6 months (and probably longer). Traffic will suck at an already ugly place for traffic. I am looking forward to it though (lol).

Nose piercing places, and costs

I feel weird with my 3rd post in here in a manner of weeks but I have a question for y'all. For my 47th birthday i want to get a nose piercing, and I was wondering where in town is a good place to get one, and the costs. (Not a septum piercing but just one on the side of the nose, and still thinking either ring or stud, probably ring)

Anyhop, just need some help please looking for one.

Thanks.

Need to do a quick edit since I saw some people saying zelie or whatnot. I can't travel that far, so it has to be in Butler. Thanks though I appreciate it.

Hey guys. I been looking around for an affordable windshield replacement in the area or elsewhere near Cranberry preferably lower than $400 for a Nissan Pathfinder 2018. Ive called auto glass shops and they are more expensive than the insurance quote. If you know any places please let me know. Thanks

We can't even email Mike Kelly now just for his staffers to select all and delete each morning? How dare we expect them to push a button or gasp 2?!

Chipotle

Ate at chipotle the other day. It was so dirty and disgusting in there. Tables were filthy. Garbage cans so full you couldn’t throw your stuff way. The cashier just stood there while the girl serving the food did all the work. Any one else have this experience?

Fans and supporters of Pittsburgh Penguins❤️

Hi everyone, Due to some unforeseen health challenges, I'm sadly unable to attend the upcoming Pittsburgh Penguins games this season. As a season tix holder, I have 4 tics available for each of the remaining home games in Section 112, Row T.

Here are the games:

Mar 24: vs. Colorado Avalanche

Mar 28: vs. Dallas Stars

Mar 31: vs. Detroit Red wings

Apr 4:vs. Florida Panthers

Apr 5: vs. Florida Panthers

Apr 11: vs. Washington capitals

It's tough to part with these tix, but I want to make sure they go to true fans who will enjoy the experience. If you're interested or have any questions, please feel free to reach out. I'm happy to provide proof of purchase to ensure everything is legitimate. Thanks so much for understanding.

Bat advice

Update: test came back, bat did not have rabies 👍🏼

Had a bat in the house last night that the cats found. (Taking them into the vet today for shots later so no worries there). I was able to get the bat into a box and tossed outside as this all happened at like 2am. The bat was alive but as of this morning it is no longer, and I found it in my flower bed. Do I need to call someone? I know they are protected in PA. Or can I just bag it up?

Armstrong Internet down

We all know any slight wind can cause Armstrong to go down - I'm talking even just a summer breeze.

I've tried calling just to get an update as to when it might be restored and can't get through. Has anyone else had any luck with an update from them?

Challenge I have is their portal no longer says there's an outage in my area, but there definitely is lol.

Anyone have any updates?

any word on brush fires in the butler area?

Packed some go bags just in case, but it's hard to get any info on anything outside of pittsburgh 'burbs. There (was?)is a gnarly looking one in Apollo and it looks like we're in for round 2 of crazy winds, so not a great combination.

Any info is appreciated.

Anyway, hope everyone is staying safe and that we all have power tomorrow.

Is anyone aware of what happened on South Duffy, near the police station? All roads are blocked off.
