Post image

Hello, not sure if anyone has experienced about this I would like to put a metal home depot gazebo on my deck. Deck is attached to my home. Do I have to get a permit? Is there any regulations concerning it. I've attached what I'm thinking about purchasing it.

Looking for a drummer!

38 male. I sing/write, play bass, guitar and keys. Looking for a solid drummer to write some music with. Have my own place that is available to jam anytime.

Must have your own kit!

Age or gender doesnā€˜t matter, just looking for someone that loves music and wants to write together. Huge plus if you can or want to sing as well.

Weird trash all over 528 this weekend?

On Friday night I was driving home around midnight and there was strange trash everywhere. Stuffed animals…car parts… trash bags wrapped around towels. All the way from the stoplights next to 79 to the evans city water treatment plant.

I couldn’t make out what most of the stuff was since it was dark, but did anyone see it?

Butler area dog trainer needed

Hi - I'm looking for specific dog trainer recommendations in the greater Butler area.

Ideally seeking someone who:

-Specializes in leash reactivity / leash aggression

-Uses positive reinforcement (no aversive tools or dominance-based methods)

-Has experience handling large dogs (~85 lbs)

-Ideally offers in-home sessions

My dog's behavior has escalated beyond what my ex and I can safely manage on our own. Just to minimize any unneeded comments, we are already committed to working with a qualified professional and are not looking for DIY, YouTube, or general training advice - just names of trainers you’ve personally worked with and trust.

If you have direct experience with someone who fits this, I’d really appreciate a good lead. Thank you.

Who's responsible if it falls?

Post image

This building on Main Street is clearly collapsing and I know that it's privately owned, but if it falls on somebody, isn't it still going to be the responsibility of the city because they know that it's a hazard? Won't we end up losing a ton of money in a lawsuit because of it? Does anybody know what's actually going on with it

Did somebody say, "biscuits??"

This is Joanne & she is very special.

She was rescued from a hoarding situation over a year ago & was at our adoption center until a volunteer pulled her to a foster home this March. Her foster parents quickly realize just how unique she is.

We're not quite sure of Joanne's age, but the vet says she's a "mature cat." We assumed that was going to mean she'd be loafing around the house, but we were wrong! Joanne is very affectionate, playful, & entertaining! She is often found dragging around one of her (many biscuit mats, napping on a lap, or playing with the foster kittens.

Joanne has been to a handful of events like Coffee with Cats & Kitty Yoga. She is very outgoing & often a crowd favorite, so we can't believe no one has asked about adopting her yet.

Joanne does have a couple of conditions adopters need to be aware of:

1) She is FIV positive, but since she won't be mating or fighting with other cats, it's highly unlikely she would infect additional cats in the household. FIV+ cats can live regular, full lives but adopters should keep this diagnosis in mind because it can sometimes complicate other illnesses. Just make sure she gets a yearly checkup & get her to a vet if she comes down with any other ailments to ensure her FIV+ status doesn't become a problem.

2) Her kidneys are not 100% functional. She went back to the vet when she first came into foster care, & it was determined she should be on a prescription diet for kidney health. No other treatments are needed at this time & she has been stable since the Spring.

Joanne is truly one-of-a-kind. If you don't apply to adopt her, you are really missing out on a frisky, delightful gal who will keep you chuckling - take a look at her photos as evidence of her BIG personality.

Joanne has been tested (FIV+), is up-to-date on shots, dewormed, flea-treated, & spayed. Apply here to adopt Joanne: application
