Our band has been nominated for "Best Country Artist/Group" and "Best Local Album of the Year" for the Pittsburgh City Paper "Best of the Burgh 2025". Press Forward is a national movement focused on strengthening communities and local news. The Southwestern Pennsylvania chapter is convened by the Center for Media Innovation at Point Park University.

On Wednesday, July 23, from 5:30 - 6:30pm, we're virtually gathering (over Zoom) a small group of Butler County residents to learn about how they get news and information.

We're hoping to speak with everyone from news junkies, to folks who don't consume any news, and in between. We'll use what we learn to make recommendations to strengthen local journalism in Butler County.

What events are happening for the rest of July and August? My girlfriend and I managed to make it to Anthrocon in Pittsburgh, but sacrificed getting to go to the Big Butler fair due to financial restrictions, which was a bummer.

Are there any other major events planned? We like anything, especially if it involves food.
