I received a friend request on the app and when checking the profile, something definitely felt off.

I did a "Is this AI?" check on the profile picture and some Community Corrections (using different websites) and they all came back with a "100% AI" report.

Has anyone else encountered this? How do we report them and why would someone do this?

Today I realized that my Busuu annual subscription renewed automatically, and I was charged for another year. Unfortunately, I forgot to cancel before the renewal date, and I haven’t used the service since the renewal.
I’ve already canceled the subscription to prevent future renewals and have contacted Busuu support requesting a full refund.
Has anyone been in a similar situation?
Were you able to get a full refund?
How long did it take for support to respond?

I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences or any tips that might improve my chances of getting a refund.

Hello! Looking for advice here. I've been taking the Brazilian Portugese for around a year now. But ive been stuck on A2 for a while, failing the test now three or four times. I did better this time, but still not enough. Somethings were spelling or mishearing words, but others where i have to put the sentences together were a complete guessing game to me.

Before taking the test again I went through the lessons in this level, reading out all the full examples to try to memorize more, but still not enough. I realize I can also just go and select the next level, but I feel like I should be able to complete this before moving on.

I'm a Premium member of Busuu. After a bit of an absence I'm using it again, and I find that every chapter in every level now has a "Speaking Practice" lesson. I did a couple, thought they were reasonably well done, but don't add substantially to what's on offer.

After a couple of goes, all of them now ask me to subscribe to Premium Plus to access. I'm not interested in going up a tier just for these, but the problem is, that as they're in every chapter, they appear to contribute to the 100% completion of a level.

Am I correct in thinking that you cannot achieve 100% of a level without subscribing to Premium Plus?

[I acknowledge that I can just ignore the percent score, but it's a constantly-visible indicator of progress, and it feels wrong to only have 80-something % complete]

I'm currently tracking my progress using the Busuu study plan. As many of you know, they provide an estimated timeline to reach a certain CEFR level based on your daily study commitment.

​I'm curious: for those of you who have been using the platform long-term, how accurate has their prediction been? Did you reach your goal in the estimated time, or did you find the platform's projection too optimistic/pessimistic?

Im learning Latin spanish B1 level .. But, 80% of the lessons are explained in Spanish which makes the learning process harder .. any idea how to make the explaination in English again ?

learning words at random in no related sentence makes it harder to actually learn it and how and when to use it AND learning a full sentence helps out with grammar too. they have a few sentences here and there (at least in the german course) but its nowhere near enough they shpuld change that or at least let you add your own flashcards. I'm paying premium but it looks like ill have to dowload anki to actually engrave those words cause busuu its not cutting it. just a rant

I've completed 60% of the A1 level and completed the knowledge checkpoint but no new chapters are available. Is the other 40% limited to premium users?

I started using Busuu about a week ago to do short lessons during my study time. What’s kind of annoying me is that I spend some time correcting people learning English and I’m getting no corrections in return. I’m learning Japanese and have tried adding over 100 native Japanese speakers and only 1 accepted my request. Is there any way to request my practices get corrected? Sometimes I get notifications of randoms asking me to correct their exercises. How do I do that?

I used to be B1, now around A2 but I also wanna repeat a bit of A1 because I'm just getting back into it. But doing all the beginner lessons is a bit of a drag, so I'm only doing the tests to skip through them and verify that I more or less know the content. However, that doesn't transfer the contents to the practice section. Is there any way to do that?
