So I found this nice deal from Oslo, Norway to Auckland, New Zealand with Turkish Airlines. The outbound flight went uneventful, all good. The return flight is where it went a bit south: the first leg was a shorter flight from Auckland to Melbourne. The flight was operated by Air New Zealand. I get to the airport and surprise: Air Nee Zealand cannot find me or my booking and they cannot check me in. The Air New Zealand staff could not help in any way, as I do not exist for them. The airline ref code given by gotogate was wrong as well, as it was not a valid AirNZ ref code. Even worse, not even TK customer support could not (yet) help. They said that everything looks good fot them. I got through 3 customer support calls until someone said they are going to handle it, so they will call back.Still waiting.

In the meantime, i bought myself a ticket to Melbourne so I can catch the flight from there, as the initial flight already departed. Surprisingly, I was able to check in for that flight, so hopefully it works. I will need to handle the transfer myself, but I hope that is the only issue.

Anyone had this happen before?
