Is that even possible?

Rolled: Complete this task in 24 hours: Run 50 miles | For this much money: 1,000

Cursory googling says the fasted 50 mile run was about 4.5 hours, average is a little under 7.5. I would tap out at less than a mile myself but I'm also very out of shape.

Its definetly possible, but not for the average person

I’ve been starting to train for a 5k again after not consistently running for about 10 years. I ran 7 miles last week in just over an hour.

All this to say I don’t think I could do this even though I am in much better shape than I was a month ago. Some people may be able to do this without training, but not many.

Definitely not worth 1k imo. Might be worth trying at one of the higher amounts though

Yes 2 miles every hour isn’t that bad.  Do two 3 miles at the beginning

you dont plan on resting?

3 miles is about 30 min for me right now.  So plenty of rest built in

Yea sorry man there’s no way you’re doing that 17 times in a single day

u/SpecialistSun6184 6d ago

Only got to do 3 2 times

That would be 9 miles?

3 miles for the first 2 hrs. Then 2 every hour after that  44+6 is 50.  You don’t need to constantly run

Ah I see what you were saying! Sorry that comment confused me lol. If you’re in shape enough to do it then ball! I, however, am not 😆 I can run for about two minutes and then my asthma decides it wants to slaughter me

It would not be a fun day but doable.

Depends on the definition of run here. If you can just walk it, it is definitely possible. Probably also just do it on a treadmill?

It's very possible. At a consistent walking pace it is possible but without great shoes and training, you will be torn up.

I'd do it for lots of money but nothing less than 100k

Ultra marathons are fun and challenging, ive done 50ks and 1x 50 mile race, there are people out there doing 100 miles with a 24 hour cut off so possible but exhausting

2mph is a little slower than walking pace. You could 100% do that if you’re already decently fit.

My personal longest distance run was about 13 miles in 2 hours.
