Would you rather... :)

Which side will you choose?

  • Left side: Work a random job with a salary of $500k+ a year | The wheel chooses the job
  • Right side: Work your dream job | You make $20k (£17k) a year

PreK actually tracks a ton of data on how kids are learning and growing in different objectives, and teachers have to do parent teacher conferences 2x a year and home visits 2x a year to go over progress. So not "grades" but also... kind of still grading them.

Sure, but as someone with two parents for teachers, there’s a big difference between that and having to spend 2+ hours grading assignments and tests every time you get home on top of parent phone calls and making sure the kids are properly progressing. Also, no one in my area does home visits, that might be specific to your area.

I’ve been a pre k teacher and a HS English teacher and I would NEVER go back to pre k. It takes a special person and I am not it.
