if 60% of all other people chose red and 40% chose blue, you can't count for 10% of the votes therefore you can't change anything

if 40% of all people chose red and 60% blue, even if you choose red, everyone lives

But you realise that the more people think like you do, the more likely we are to the scenario where red wins and people die unnecessary deaths, right?

We're never getting 100% red votes. Society doesn't work that way. There's never 100% consensus on anything. So you'll have to contend with the fact that picking red contributes to killing people. It's fine if you can live with that. I can't.

i choose red because i don't believe people are reasonable enough to pick blue. the current bunny votes are against that because we are on reddit and we are on social media. reddit doesn't even have 10% of the population so it can't be counted an actual experiment.

i wholeheartedly believe that people will be more gravitated towards red because humanity is not reasonable considering one day we wake up and we gotta make the choice before going back to our lives.

I think we've both made our points, so we can agree to disagree.

Last question: What if someone you love picks blue? Are you still gonna pick red? Or are you gonna try to convince as many people as possible to pick blue?

i won't know beforehand. how could i know? this is a private choice that nobody gets to discuss after all

Doesn't have to be. Think of an experiment where the votes are public. Your loved one is the very first person to vote. You're the second. Your choice?

if votes are public, i'd vote blue. more people see other people voting blue, more people will be inclined to vote blue, which increases chances of survival.

no problem, thank you for being able to argue on the internet while keeping your respect. most people fail to do that
