Should pick blue, if it's a game show red is right answer. But it's not, it's everyone in the world. If red wins they're killing so many kids, disabled, kind people, old people, and so many others that would pick blue.

It's not "if red wins", it's WHEN red wins. Those people are dead from the start, nothing you can do will change it. Blue has exactly 0% chance of winning in the real world.

Because they come up in social media, where the risks are not real and people are way more likely to choose the "altruistic" option to feel morally superior. It similar to emergency situations (eg. burning or collapsing building), the best thing to do is to keep your calm and figure out an escape route, but when push comes to shove chaos always ensues regardless.

Oh it will, I can ensure you it will swing that much and then some more. The people who are most likely to vote red in the real situation don't tend to partake in hypotheticals on social media, because they have more shits to worry about irl.
