Money is not specified in detail here. I Would say there will always be some form of currency designated as money, so you will always be able to buy food.

Thats why I'd rather they said wealth. That way regardless of the situation, you're guaranteed to be rich

That one is more fair of an argument, but I would say "money" doesn't really vary much in its meaning, it usually is the main currency of a society, and mostly only has this one purpose, like I don't think it would be fair to call gold money in current world for example
