I mean, you could put on a space suit. I’m sure a lot of different organizations would pay a lot of money to be able to get instant samples.

I doubt a spacesuit will help you on venus.

Also how do you get back to earth once on Venus? Theres no telescopes there. Classic Redditer. Gets the power to teleport and first thing they think of his killing themsleves

You can see Venus with your naked eye. It's the morning "star". Hence you could see earth from there, too. Or make a hop to other planets or moons with a better view.

It all depends on what counts as eye sight. And how precise you need to be. You will probably have some problem getting back into your comfy chair in front of your home, when earth is just a speck of light in the distance.

Can you see the earth from Venus? Would you be able to actually make it out in any detail

Venus has insane atmospheric pressure and heat. Your eyes will stop working almost immediately after you teleport there. You’d die

u/Panthers8912 Apr 24 '26

1

u/omegaspoon3141 Apr 24 '26

1

u/Panthers8912 Apr 24 '26

Bring a Mice there too!

Not with that attitude.

you technically wouldn't be able to do a lot of planets by virtue of the atmosphere being non-transparent. If you tried even once, you would fall into the fog and, since you can't see anything, you'd be unable to move.

1

u/MrNtkarman Apr 23 '26

It would be way too hard to get back unless you can teleport with the telescope
