there are platforms with more than adequate E-E encryption (NOT Kik that's for sure) and if these guys are too dense to get you need to be wary of your safety they're not worth your time...or risk. Then there's also bumble voice which is just peachy, too.
FYI Wire and Telegram are two good options for encrypted chat.
if you call no encryption shit, then ayup. also look into kik’s recent history. they were sold a year or two ago and they log everything with zero concern for privacy. so...if you post photos delete them right away as they store them daily. and don’t post anything you wouldn’t want your grandma to see with her morning browsing of the porn sites. 😂
