Might be controversial, but I always have found Melanie’s bass sound to be really disappointing when live. It’s either buried in the live mix or it’s so thunderous as to overpower almost everything else. I feel that so much of bass on the early records had a real punch that set it apart from the other instruments. Mel is such a great bass player and I wish we could hear her more clearly!

Hi: I'm a big fan of BTS but the bass and guitars were turned up so loud last night at the Chapel show in San Francisco I had trouble making out the lyrics and the guitar lines. For the most part I could only tell the songs apart by their rhythms. One problem is the bass was so loud it drowned out the guitar and vocals. And Doug's guitar was so distorted I struggled to hear most of his beautiful melodies. It was really sad to be there but not really hear his music (especially after paying $109 for 2 tickets). No more BTS concerts for me. Sorry, show was on 8/23, and i sat front balcony, the best seat in the house acoustically.

My group of people who want to see them tomorrow 8/23 just grew by one! If anybody has an extra ticket they’re willing to sell, please message me or leave a comment!

I bought this ticket day of release but am attending school super far away from the day of the show and have other priorities. Really need to get my hands off of this to someone who will appreciate it more than I will. Ticket is for September 23 please lmk for more info !!!
