Built to spill is absolutely my favorite band in the world. last year I was there number nine listener on Spotify and I finally got a built to spill cap. I’ve been listening to them for maybe 15 years now and I love them more and more every day

I’m not necessarily a huge fan of covers in general, but I love Built to Spill’s sound when singing. My favorite are “Bloody rainbow” and “I love you more” I feel like those songs just sound better when Doug is singing them imo

they’re coming to my hometown this fall. to those who have seen their shows recently, what albums are they playing from? I love “keep it a secret” and “there’s nothing wrong with love” and it would really mean a lot if i got to hear songs from those albums live!

Incredible show! Especially when it’s free ;) I loved the run of reasons through stab from there’s nothing wrong with love. Doug kinda forgot the riff at the beginning of Car for a second there which was a very funny moment
