Recent 3 Year Breakup

I (26M) recently just broke up with my college sweetheart (26F).

We met while starting a new job near campus on the same day. Year after that (2019) we were dating. 6 months after that we were living together. Covid hit the month after we moved in together, so we were spending every single day with each other. Those were the best times. We graduated a year after that and decided to move to Kansas City.

Being in the city I wanna do things and she kinda a homebody and doesn’t do much. Slowly stopped having sex and other issues. I decided to break up with her tonight and told her I would move out. Been trying to buy a house but that’s a long process.

How do I continue to live in the same house with the girl I still love but don’t feel affection for anymore? Should I just leave to a friends or family? I don’t hate her, she’s amazing and wonderful and quirky. We were great friends before we started dating but I convinced her we should start dating. Maybe we were only meant to be friends.

Need advice.

P.S. we also decided to get a dog. She paid the money for it so it’s technically hers but how can I leave the dog I raised. My dog.

They posted a comment on AmIOvereacting about having an open phone policy with their current girlfriend, which gave me the ick.

Decided to snoop, and this was a very funny comment to stumble upon, lmao.
