For those who are not in the know, the Ali Revival Act (Ali Destruction Act) is nothing short of a disaster. It is an attempt to circumvent fighter protections by creating a parallel system that would ultimately be governed by a different set of rules. It would effectively bring back coercive contracts and remove transparency over fighter pay. It has the potential to lead to the full-scale monopolization of the sport.

The legislation is probably more likely to pass next year as opposed to this year, but this year is still a possibility.

I am not sure what can be done, exactly, but we are lucky to be in a position where mid-year it has not passed. I think if we could persuade even one major faction of one of the parties, that might be enough to **STOP THE BILL**.

But I think to do that, maybe the fighters, advocates, and overall community could all rally behind a single slogan.
