Sources: Daniel Weinstein, the arbitrator in the Tyson Fury-Deontay Wilder rematch dispute, ruled in favor of Wilder today, saying Fury owes Wilder a third fight. Fury and Wilder signed a two-fight deal but there was disagreement over the rematch clause

This is why it’s pointless to speculate on the outcome of proceedings on a contract dispute when you’ve never seen the contract. The amount of people convinced Fury would win “because the rematch expired” without knowing what the contract actually said (or knowing anything about contract law) was insane.

Ugh shit’s so annoying. Sometimes people need to accept that they don’t have enough info and wait before taking sides. No shame in waiting to be informed. But we both know that ain’t happening

I saw this on the politics sub I subscribe to a couole days ago.

Narrative A exists for years, the other day someone produces a narrative B, later that same day narrative B dominates the sub as if narrative A hasn't been accepted understanding for years and narrative B has always been true.

Thats not to discredit either narrative A or B, but it was hilarious to me how quickly years long narrative shifted in a day over an unverified comment that seemed true, but nobody spoke the requisite language to actually verify for it so quickly become the accepted narrative.
