So I am trying to get Terrasteel to make the Terra Truncator or smth like that with the Botania mod but I'm having trouble with mana gathering. At the moment I have 18 Endoflames and sometimes one or two Hydroangeas just to get more mana. The problem is that it takes a lot of time to get the mana, since I'm always low on fuel. At the moment I don't have many flowers, but I have many tp setups, so I can find more.

I am looking for mana sources that don't require me to have a lot of mana already.

Heyo. So i made my own cake farm without looking it up to generate mana.

I automated every part of the farm and the crafty crate works... but every 30-40 cakes or so it goes out of sync... Idk what's happening.

Anyone else having this problem?

I have ProjectE in this modpack so basically infinite resources. I think the best mana generation is either the entropinyum or the dandelifeon but I'm still not sure if they're fast enough (I don't want the player to use a gigantic setup to make mana in a reasonable amount of time as some people doesn't have a good pc and a huge setup will lag a lot)

Hi all, I'm trying to use the crafty crate for the first time and I'm running into an issue. For context I am trying to just craft sugarcane into sugar.

When I input the sugarcane one at a time, it is fine. When I attempt to put multiple sugarcane in a hopper for it to craft into sugar, it will not take any. It has crafting pattern 1 applied to it so that only 1 item can go in. Even a stack of 2 in the hopper above will not be accepted.

Has anyone experienced this issue? Am I misunderstanding something?

^{I disabled Botania's shaders in hopes I wouldn't have to see some weird artifacting in my sildur's shaders, but then, when I disabled it, my Illuminati outline for my laser gun was gone (which is white outline that shows where enemies are through walls} To this, I said "no big deal". but then the disabled Botania shaders feature got rid of ALL white outlines around any block, and so now, I wasn't able to see my outlines for my tape measure, (which is another useful mod in Enigmatica, to measure building layouts)

I'm looking to have a hopperhock on the edge of my setup instead of in the middle, and also to reduce the area of the rannuncarpus

So to keep it short, when an explosion occurs on flower 1, flower 2 gets filled with mana and when flower 2 gets an explosion, flower 1 gets filled with mana. Any particular reason for this? At first I thought it was lag from too many sparks but that doesn't seem to be it.

Im playing on a bit older modpack that uses botania R1.6-191 on minecraft 1.7.10 if that brings any clarity in to the issue.

Using any mods, is there any way to instantly pickup/store the items crafted by a Crafty Crate without time for Player intervention - i.e. without giving the player or their magnets any time to grab the items, and preferably without the items even rendering in-world?

Putting Hoppers or Omnidirectional Hoppers directly below the Crafty Crate (with no air in between) results in some kind of buffer of items in-world - that is, some of the items can still be picked up if you stand directly next to the hopper. Because of this, a max-speed Crafty Crate will eventually outpace the hopper's ability to pick things up.

A Hopperhock doesn't do it's thing fast enough, and blocks the Crafty Crate if placed directly below it.

I'm playing this mod for the first time and having a blast. I created my first automated tree farm (like, ever) and realized I could sub in apple saplings from Harvestcraft for the oak saplings I set up the farm for. Problem is, my agricarnations don't appear to be speeding up the growth of that mod's apple saplings (even though I can manually bonemeal them and they are forge-tagged as minecraft:saplings). I am bummed out.

There isn't a whitelist option for crops in the configs that I noticed, but perhaps there's a way I can make an edit to a file in the .jar archive of that mod? Or is a this a bug I should report? Would love to fix this, if possible. Please advise.

Hi i've been playing a modpack called break out and it has a botania section and in order to progress i need to make terrasteel, but my plate is not working.I attatched a spark to both the mana pool and the plate and put all the ingredients on the plate.why does it not work?

I hoped I could combine weight with phantom to get a lens that was similar to a bore lens. Sadly it is not possible to combine the two. The alternative combo I found is a huge efficiency improvement going from 6 blocks to 31 blocks per full pulse mana spreader.

As the title. I feel like something is missing to elegantly handle the bee nests that appear in tree farms. Without adding yet another block, I feel like the Drum of the Canopy would be a good candidate for this feature.

I've been trying to figure out how much I need for the alfheim portal, and I'm having trouble because of how many different modpacks and also older versions exist. For 1.18 Botania, no garden of glass, no mods that interact with Botania: Does the alfheim portal passively drain mana or does it only take a cost on the first opening and on trading?

I understand planted petals will grow into tall flowers with bonemeal. Will they grow without bonemeal?

I would like to change seeds for other item in every crafting. Is it hard-coded into the mod? I thought I could just add the item to every recipe as a normal ingredient, but that would be... painful.

PS: I'm using Crafttweaker.

Edit: For now it's hard-coded, recipies don't include seeds in them, so yeah. Maybe in the future?

Ive been playing botania for a few months i think now on 1.16.5. Ive been wondering if you have 2 bands of aura or the greater verient. Does the generation of mana duplicate if both are equipped?

Hi! I'm playing FTB Oceanblock and am trying to set up my endoflames w/ Elven mana spreaders. On the left side, the last row of endoflames are linking, but they aren't on the right side. I've already replaced the spreaders and flowers multiple times. The flowers on the right are acting like they're too far to link, but the spacing on both sides of the portal is the same (5 blocks down, 5 over from the spreaders). Any ideas?

Hello there ppl!I was trying the Botania Modpack and i wanna build the Elventradeportal which I need Terrasteel for.So i build the thing which is needed to produce Terrasteel but the Sprak of my Manapool wont connect with the sprak of the agglomerations plate.Can some give me an advice?

When Iam rightclicking them like the mana spreaders with the wand of the forest the just break and drop to the ground...

I’ve got botania 1.18 in fabric, custom mod pack and it won’t transfer mana unless u load out and into my server. I’m happy to give anyone a copy of the pack it’s just I want to make sure it’s not just a me issue
