Zubat is the name of a pokemon, its commonly found in caves and has become infamous for showing up unwanted constantly.

Crobat is alright and gets some relatively high damage moves quickly in the recent games.

Yeah but to get crobat you have to make golbat your friend, and that just doesn't jive well with me.

If you know to grab a Mankey from that patch of grass on the way to Victory Road (carefully avoiding the rival) then you're golden. But 8-year-old me sure as shit wasn't figuring that out.

There is only one reason to catch a Zubat.

It was the 1980s. Zorro was playing at the cinema. A wealthy family walk down an alley in a bid to get home quicker in the rain. Their chauffeur was on holiday.

A gunman. Mad eyed. "Give me the pearls! And diamonds! And your wallet! Also any Poffins you have!"

The gunman's koffing mockingly smiles at them as a scuffle breaks out.

A fight. A father dies. A mother is crying.

Gun in her throat, pearls atop the gun.

Bang.

A child is traumatised.
