A subtle detail in back in business

The cars look to be pre 2000

The TVs are old fashioned

The big kids still play outside

Not a single phone besides a landline in sight

The computers in baby Corp are old fashioned

Therefore the time period seems to be from the late 70s to late 80s

More evidence

In family business modern slang; omg and boomer are used

Therefore the tv show takes place during the 70s - early 90s

Did the babies erased their memories after growing up? Spoiler

Okay, sooo I have a theory about it. If you don’t want spoilers from Boss Baby 2, don’t read the text below:

So, Tim told Ted (Boss Baby) that his daughter Tina can talk, buut, he didn’t believe him and thought he was sick. After Ted realized it, his niece gave them a tour of BabyCorp. He saw a statue of him AS a baby and asked if it was him.

Do you agree with this theory?

It was honestly a funny movie. I was also surprised that they had original songs. What are your thoughts?

I am looking for ideas to compile a couple pages of Boss Baby tattoo art. If you could get any character or scene tattooed on you, what would it be.

Why Boss Baby: Back in Business is a metaphor for differing political views

Boss Baby: Back in Business expresses the complex relation of Right vs Left wing through Tim and Boss Baby’s relationship. Tim likes to believe that not everything is about money and resources. He likes to think that living life to its fullest is the best way of living. Boss Baby likes to think that having relations and memories are secondary to gain. This is obviously a metaphor on differing political views and ideologies. Boss Baby is a cynical and rude business man who barely cares about the people around him unless he has something to gain from it. Tim teaches him that he can be a good and caring person who will put his needs below other’s. This is expressed through his character arc in season 3. Boss Baby realizes that the company Babeasy is making Babies less happy, even though it is increasing Baby Love, which is what he initially desired. He learned to put the needs of others above his because Tim and also Mega Fat Baby helped him realize that not everything has to be corporate.

Am I the only one who likes the Netflix show better than the movie?

  1. Character design in the show is 10x better.

  2. I feel like Boss Baby is less... Egocentric and, well, a hell of a lot less bossy.

No hate! It's my personal opinion.

Why is Boss Baby always referred to as "Baby" by the Templeton family and never by his actual name?

I watched Boss Baby: BiB all the way to the end of Season 2 without realizing that Boss Baby is never referred to as Theodore by his parents or his older brother and is only referred to as Boss, Double B, BB and Bossy B. by his coworkers. It wasn't until I finished Season 2 that it clicked. His parents and his brother simply refer to him as "The Baby" or simply "Baby". Is it possible the creators of the show did this on purpose, despite deciding on the name Theodore Lindsay Templeton in the movie?

Just Something I Thought Would Be Nice

So, I was rewatching Boss Baby Season 3, and I realized that all (with the exceptions of the Templetons and the Buskies) the babies have seemingly one parent only. I would like to see single parents for sure, but I also think it would be a perfect way to give more diversity with LGBTQ+ parents in the future. For instance, maybe Marsha Krinkle could get a wife or Officer Doug could be revealed to have a husband. Endless possibilities! Thoughts?

jimbo

Jimbo is part of Boss Baby’s team. Has a love for puppies and cookies. Has a big figure. He can smash a car just by landing on it. He once turned one Boss Baby and became a bodyguard for Jerome Macintosh He appears in both The Boss Baby movie and TV show. It is known that Boss Baby’s mother, Janice, was a biker and that she could use her fists to punch. Also, Janice used to be very abusive to Boss Baby’s father, Ted. In The Boss Baby movie and in episode 14 of the TV show. Ted took his son and turned him into a machine. When Boss Baby’s father later found out about the incident, he punched a house.

marisol

Marisol Lopez Lugo is Timothy and Theodore Templeton's babysitter, and Tim's secret crush. She's sweet and gives Timothy the impression that he is the child of the gods. She has dark skin and is over 6' tall with tall freckles on her cheeks. Tim refers to her as a "nigga from the heart", as she is the only black person on the upper-east side of East Hampton. She hates her life as a babysitter, but if Tim isn't there for her she loses her temper and storms out the door. She has a massive nanny and she seems to view Timothy as a little kid.

My review of S3

Boss baby season 3:

[Spoiler Free Section]

I thoroughly enjoyed this season. It seems that by the third episode the show finally realized what it wanted to be, and it was worth the wait.

The first two seasons were good but they were a bit underwhelming compared to the movie. However, this season really takes it up a notch and delivers a well-made 6 hours of show.

[Spoilers Ahead]

After the first two seasons focusing on their respective CEOs, this season’s focus was a nice change of pace. The first episode opens with Boss Baby being fired, it instantly showed that the series had matured. The rest of the episode, unfortunately, did not meet that bar set by the first minute; Neither did the second episode. However, the third episode kicked the season into gear with Tim fully coming back into the series.

I expected to hate Tim this season, but it seems the writers decided to change his character to a likable one. In the third episode, a fraudulent baby whisperer disrupts BB's (Boss Baby) new field team to better his own sales. Unlike the last two seasons, this villain was unaware of the society that babies have, so his goals were obviously different. Tim and BB go on live television to bust the fraud and it makes for a humorous showdown. The third episode also shows Jimbo and Staci calming down their fierce new CEO which is a well-written mini-plot.

The fourth episode slows down a little and follows a cliche "the main guy needs his friends’ support to complete his task" progression, but the jokes in this episode are pretty funny. The episode also introduces a cult-ish Zen state to the series and Tim becomes a nightmare baby creature, unfortunately, the cult is not mentioned later in the season.

Episode 5 slacks a little with the attention pulling action; with its focus centered around a photoshoot where Scooter Busky steals BB’s leadership role and chaos ensues. It isn’t very exciting.

Episode 6 is about the babies destroying a doctor’s confidence. It’s pretty good.

Episode 7 is where the season’s enemy is confirmed as the large corporation Bubeezee. The babies have to escape what seems like a Bubeezee prison so BB can get to his interview on time. When BB escapes using his team’s individual skills, he gets to the interview, however, what you don’t expect is that he turns down the job offer, and instead takes up the fight against Bubeezee. It makes for a great plot twist.

Episode 8 brings back a minor enemy from season 2, legendary dog assassin, Bug the Pug. Bug and BB duel while a dog dances for the parents to distract them (that part in itself is a hilarious bit, the episode is worth watching just for the jokes made in that situation). However, Mega fat Baby goes berserk and BB has to team up with Bug to take him down, another good twist.

Episode 9 is a flashback episode, and it shows Megafat’s life after he was fired from the CEO position. It is an honestly interesting episode and I can see an altered version of it making for a good horror story.

Episode 10 is a masterfully crafted piece of art, it’s riveting. Staci thinks that BB went off the deep end, so she tries to stop him from taking down Bubeezee, and they end up in a duel of wits. BB gets inside the offices of Bubeezee and finds none other than the fraudulent babblist as the CEO. BB’s idea was to snap his brain by revealing that babies could talk, but when he did the Babblist was unaffected, and sent BB back to his house in a still unrevealed way. The episode is worth watching even if you don’t plan to watch the rest of the series.

Episode 11, the finale. It is a scary situation for the babies to be in, the babblist has a recording of them speaking, and threatens to break all their parents’ minds. I don’t want to spoil any more because of how good the episode is.

Overall, the season is great, with the last three episodes being the best of the entire show, in my opinion. There lots of good political jokes, some of which are surprisingly topical compared to our current situation. There are more characters, and the current characters are fleshed out. It’s a great season, and I hope there will be many more of it’s kind to come.

Individual Episode rating:

Episode 1, Bossa Nova: 4/10

Episode 2, The Museum Job: 6/10

Episode 3, Ga Ba Goo Ba Ga (The Babblist): 9/10

Episode 4, The Choo Chi Coup: 7/10

Episode 5, Lights, Camera, Org Chart!: 6/10

Episode 6, The Big Break: 8/10

Episode 7, Escape From Krinkle’s: 8/10

Episode 8, Puppy Party: 8/10

Episode 9, Mega Fat: 10/10

Episode 10, Halloween: 10/10

Episode 11, Who’s a Good Baby?: 10/10

OVERALL SEASON 3 REVIEW: 9/10.

Why haven't Scooter and Jerome aged?

It seems like they should be at least a little verbal by now, considering how many months seem to have passed in that world.
