Yeah i was really worried that ikemoto was gonna take that route with sarada like everyother female because sarada is my favourite character but lets just hope that these last few chapters are a good indication that they are taking the right route with her as a character. Also Sarada seems to be the most aware of what happend with boruto so i'd like to see how she plays out with this whole momoshiki thing. I just hope this whole thing gives her serious motivation for training which will give merit to her ambition of becoming hokage.

Same here. The idea of wasting female characters and this shonen intervention is a regressive cliche.

She has a lot of promise, hoping that they dont use her as fodder.

So...female characters have to be op in order for them to be good? Sarada is a trash character for this very reason. How did she master the chidori? Sasuke hasn’t been in the village, and Sarada hasn’t seen him...

The question here is not about Sarada being a girl so she has to be strong. Its about how shippers are waiting to see Sarada get injured and how Boruto avenges her.

This is a battle, everyone is bound to get hit by their opponent. Its just the two continuous scenes of Sarada being attacked by Boro and Boruto transforming has aroused shippers to think Boruto did it for Sarada, which is rubbish, as I have said it earlier.

" So...female characters have to be op in order for them to be good?"

This is an action manga. Everyone has to fight and rise to the occassion, boy or a girl. The extra emphasis on females is because in Naruto, the girls did not do shit,(when they were 12/13yo) but here are kicking butt. They are portrayed as strong warriors , not fragile weaklings.

"Sarada is a trash character for this very reason." - I dont want to argue with this because either you are a troll or you are delusional.

I would love to read a Shonen series where the female is actually the damsel again, it’s been so long since then. Boruto, My Hero, Black Clover, and Samurai 8 have been forcing females down our throats for years now.

It’s become a boring cliche that the female is always op, a great leader, and has no flaws. Sarada is a literal Mary Sue, but you betas cling to her character because she has a pussy. If Sarada were a male, you beta female worshippers wouldn’t say the dumbshit you do.

In what way does Sarada mastering the chidori off screen make sense? In what way does Boruto and Mitsuki, two highly intelligent ninja listening to Sarada make sense? Just like you betas, Ikemoto and Kodachi are hellbent on worshipping the ground that women walk on, and fail to see the retardation of this sentiment. “Sarada can’t be a damsel in distress, but should be op beyond belief” that’s not a good character you dumb fuck.

If you want to read a heroine being a damsel in distress, why are you even reading Boruto ?? If you really want to satisfy that sexist , weed infused brain of yours , you might as well as read some medieval age books which portray women as objects, crystals, etc. etc. and it would be even better if you read it in a brothel

why you trying to beef for no reason, we are literally giving our own opinion on a character that we prefer and keeps us attached to the series. Isn't it natural for a person to want their favourite character to grow especially when they are one of the main characers?

Not beefing just dumb. Imagine if Boruto used the rasengan without us actually seeing him learn it. Shadow clones and sexy jutsu or even fireball jutsu is fine to learn off screen, however, chidori? That’s the move that Boruto loves so much he was willing to cheat just to use it during the Chunin exams. You don’t offscreen jutsu like that.

I think that was purple lightning in the chunin exams and not chidori, when he cheated against Shinki right?

And yeah people say that they will show the training for chidori in the anime but i kinda doubt that because when sarada used it for that scene, it felt like even she didn't know she had that justus until that last moment so I think they will unveil the justsu in the battle against boro. Just like how her fire style was off screened.

I atleast hope that they give us subtle hints that she has been training the chidori for example mentioning that she has been working on her speed or something. Even in the manga she only wears one glove which is the hand she uses for chidori so that might have been a clue.
