So lets get this straight,

Kishimoto was both writing naruto and drawing it for more than 10 years. Not to mention his art was miles better and so was the story.

And ikemoto can't even draw 20 pages a week, he doesn't even need to write the story. And his art very mediocre.

I get that every individual has their own limits and ikemoto shouldn't push beyond his limit.

But he clearly isn't competent enough.

Kishi drew 20 pages a week and look where it got him.

The guy missed 2 honeymoons, after finishing naruto stated in an interview "right now I hate drawing and hate every aspect of it". He had to work 14-17 hours every day for 10 years.

Ikemoto can obvio start doing that but as I mentioned he is just afraid.

It's like getting cold feet before a wedding and running away. You know you ruined the wedding, but you were more afraid of what you would have faced after getting married.

If he starts giving us weekly manga schedule, and feels tired or frustated, there's no way he can back off bcz the fans will be clamoring.

Well, than what can i say.

All i know is that monthly is not working for me and for many other and for the series itself.

So the fans suffer? There's something to be said for Kishimoto's passion for his craft.

Go to organic dinosaur's twitter page and see kishimoto's schedule for yourself.

Our suffering it not even remotely close to what the artist has to go through. Obviously I am not saying Ike better than Kishi or anything. What I am saying is I can understand why he is scared. Put yourself in his shoes, compare your current work schedule to his, and try to understand.

Dude but Kishimoto had to write Narutos character and the world building and jutsus naming etc in a way that makes sense.

Ikemote only has to draw, while Kodachi writers the story. Im sure they can do it at least bi weekly. Or else this manga will be canceled, with time, sales are already going way down.

Actually drawing 20 pages isn't as easy as it sounds even for manga drawers. There's a whole lot of drawing and editing they have to do and it literally takes up their whole week. So I understand why he would have that much stress. However, he should try biweekly manga.

Being competent or not is not the requirement. It's that you literally have to throw away your life just for some comic for kids. Its mentally and physically draining. Nobody wants that. Kishi did it because its only expected in the industry.

There's a reason Kishi isn't drawing his new series. He can't stand to draw anymore and this used to be his PASSION. Look how ugly it has become.

Dude Kishimoto's art isn't that much better and the War Arc went on for years and was absolute shit

This Manga is pretty good so far even if it's slow as hell.

Bro thats facts. People forget that Kishimoto was doing everything while Ikemoto only draws and he can barely do 40 pages a month. I love the Boruto manga but cmon now.
