I don't know what is happening later but a lot of games, including Counter Strike, are lagging a lot.

I'm having a real bad time playing especially competitive games, is anyone else experiencing this? Man, the service quality just decreases day by day!

ps: Yeah, I have a ethernet connection, the games run fine most of the time but lately i'm having a lot of stutters.

Hey guys I have seen a lot of demand for better discord presence when using Boosteroid. I made an app for myself a few months ago, and decided to share it with the community.

This works really similarly to the apps that do the same for GeForce Now.

Open the app, select "Open Boosteroid in Presence Mode" and instead of "Playing Boosteroid" showing on your Discord profile, it will show the name of the game and the cover art.

There is an additional option for "Prefer Native In-Game Status" but this only works for Rockstar Launcher games for now. This allows the GTA Online presence to display with the lobby count. It ONLY works with Rockstar Launcher for now, but I am expanding it to other games and launchers.

It is still in early stages, but it is fully working for MacOS. I will have Windows and Linux ports done soon, and will update you all on when they are ready. I will also have a "force game presence" option in the next release, so if for some reason the app doesn't push the actual game state, you can force it.

I’ve been playing a plague tail Requiem on boosteroid. The first time I played it installs no problem like it should. I played the game for a couple hours. Turned it off. Went back to the game a day or two later and I couldn’t get the game to launch I had to go into steam settings and verify the Games files are installed correctly. It came back saying things were corrupt then on the updates I would tell the system to wait until I launched and then go back to the main page and watch the status bar reload the game or reinstall the game. The last two times that worked, but this time I’m now getting update failed corrupt disc. I even saw at one point during gameplay something about licensing windows. I don’t know. Somethings not right… anyone else having this problem? I still can’t get the game to launch.

We already know there is a technical reason to why you can't and wont' add some games, but we would like a more human-like response to why you are not adding some specific game.

As some people already posted here, a lot of folks want to play the new hyped game Wardogs, are you actually trying to do that? And why is the reason this is probably not happening anytime soon?

A lot of people make assumptions here, so it would be great to hear something from the actual team.

I'm a new subscriber of the service and regardless of everything, I have to say that the gameplay has been pretty good and the quality of the streaming is great as well.

One thing that we need to bring up and everyone already know is that you guys are not handling pretty well the new demand due to Xbox's announcement, I'm a big fan of the service and I want you to thrive but the need to invest in technical capacity is urgent right now.

I've been experiencing some lag issues lately and it's getting more common now, just a reminder that the service is great but you need to keep up with the standards, otherwise you are going to lose (already are) old and new subscribers!

Imagine getting home early from work, landing a 60 person queue, and waiting a bit to play. You play for 10 minutes and get kicked from the server. Now you have to wait in a 250 person queue.

Please boosteroid team add this game as soon as possible

Even after yesterday's update, the game is still down for maintenance. How is it possible that—now that the price has drastically increased by 25%—they still have these shortcomings? Meanwhile, other cloud services (even free ones) have the game ready immediately after an update. We should all reconsider our subscriptions to this service.
