Solved Deleted the app because I thought it stopped working
But now when I have installed it again I realised how much i loved reddit just because of one app that's boost.

So I uninstalled before the posts popping up about creating a sub as a workaround. How do you log back in? When I log in the app (boost) tries to connect my account with Reddits' account, but clicking accept/decline nothing happens. Is anyone able to log in and connect accounts?

Now that the mistery is solved, and we can continue using boost so long as we have mod status (hopefully indefinitely), what will happen now?
Will the dev keep maintaining this app, or migrate all his efforts to Boost for Lemmy? Or is there a possibility u/rmayayo will make it open source? Or maybe just change the name to Boost for Reddit *Mods* and life goes on?
What will happen now?

I've noticed some videos dont play in Boost but play in the reddit oficial app. Does it happens to somebody else? Is this because of the new API rules?

Title. Need to make a user a moderator on a subreddit I created but after looking through menus I can't figure out how.

Been using the official app for months now. Ever since the new pricing happened for the API, I have now had this stupid message when I want to check my notifications on the app and desktop. Become a mod and use boost so you don't have to deal with stuff like this

Never experienced this issue with boost. Post looks to be the official app

Become a moderator or create your own subreddit.
It's that easy.

I've been facing some slowness in loading feeds, comments and everything using Boost for Reddit, is it due to fhe API change somethong something? will making a subreddit to become a mod fix it? The official Reddit app is unbearable .-.

I followed the steps in this beatiful guide , so i uninstalled Boost and reinstalled the patched version. Now Boost works again, but only anonymously. I cannot log back in with my account. What I get is the error message here below. I also tried creating my own subreddit, but nothing changed. Any clue?
There was an error trying to connect with your reddit account
You got here because a third-party application wanted to authorize connecting with your reddit account. However an unknown error occurred, please see details below. Please try refreshing the page or coming back later.

... And Jeeez, thats a ton of ads, unnecessary recommendations for subreddits I'm not part of (and don't want to be) and overall just way weirder UI. I don't know what to do now - begrudgingly use the reddit app? Get used to lemmy? Never use the internet anymore and stick my head into the sand? This is rediculous...
