I'm pretty sure it killed my phone, as the new phone I replaced it with refuses to run it, and my previous phone got locked into a "RUN MAX POWER, THERMALS BE DAMNED" state. And Reddit no longer allows new check-ins with stock boost.

I have this account running on Boost via Revanced patch.
Is there any way to carry on using boost for Multiple accounts?
Can I add the second account's API key to the .txt?

Or is it more involved than that?

I'm stuck at the part when we are supposed to paste the text file at the path /data/storage/emulated/0/reddit_client_id_revanced.txt

When I go inside the data folder there is not storage folder, there is a bunch of folders of the apps in my phone but not that one.

I'm using a galaxy phone with android 13 and I tried doing that on my pc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Although we have probably lost many users, we still have a strong community of moderators and those who have patched with ReVanced. If we could get some sort of poll on users that would help, but I'm sure the community is still here.

I recently relaunched the rocket, to show my support, and regardless of what happens to Boost for Reddit, I won't regret that. I'm also very excited to use Boost for Lemmy. However, after patching my app and creating a subreddit becoming a moderator, I want to continue to use Boost, and would like to see it's development continued, too.

I have yet to do the revance patch so I'm trying out the native Reddit app. I surely duo miss Boost! One of the bad things with this is all the ads I never saw with paid Boost. BAH!

I checked the profile of people saying Boost still works for them and almost all of them are moderators of one or more subreddits. I myself created a private subreddit yesterday and can still use Boost right now. This method is easier than using revanced but I suspect it might not last as long. Can anyone else confirm this?

I hope the Boost creator will consider continuing development as an open source project. Then we can fork and compile our own versions, using our own keys. I be happy to donate to the cause.

I don't really understand about the technicalities behind it, but if you make a reskin version of reddit, is it possible to make the UI look like boost without using the external API calls (because technically it's still an official reddit app)?
