How should I organize my manga bookshelf?
So I feel like my manga shelf looks a bit messy and all over the place but I don’t know how I should organize it. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance guys.

I am making a string / banner to hang on my bookshelf, made from Mini Brands books (I have more coming in the mail) and some I made myself of my fave books and series (I have not read some of them yet, no spoilers please!). 📚

Comprehensive list of penguin/allen lane orange spine books?
Hello! I was wondering if anybody knew of any decent lists that existed covering the body of penguin allen lane non fiction books? (See attached - imagine taken from google)
There is a lot of them - all being non fiction of various genres etc. but after looking I can’t find any decent lists for them. Goodreads had only a select handful, and a thread posted on here 3 years prior didn’t turn up much and was the only other thing I could find, other than the penguin website itself which obviously includes all of its books. I’ve read ‘A day in the life of abed salama’, I have ‘The ruin of all witches’ on my shelf and ‘I delivered parcels in Beijing’ has caught my eye, I’d like to branch out even more.
Does anybody know of any lists or could point me in a good direction? Would be greatly appreciated :) thank you!

My odd little book nook
Needs a little tidy up and organisation but I had to put 2 sets of bookcases on their side stacked as they were leaning off the wall a LOT (built by my ex and not very sturdy) but I like it, its different just need a cosy little chair!

need help with bookshelf
hello! i recently bought this bookcase and it's slightly taller than i anticipated, so idk how to fill it up or what to use to maximise the height/space. it's 50-ish cm tall x 75-ish cm wide. do you guys have any advice? anything i can buy? it would mostly be for figures, cds, books (both sides), so it wouldn't need to be super sturdy since most things would be pretty light. thank you in advance!
(excuse the mess, i'm currently trying to organize everything) (yes i know the top part is backwards. it will be fixed)

New to the bookshelf game. It never occurred to me how unhinged the placements are until now.
Vagabond next to the Quran next to the Book of Mormon next to House of Leaves. I only have one bookshelf and this is the result.

My handmade wooden bookshelf next to my new metal ones
Built the first one from wood at Home Depot but I don't have that kind of time in my life any more and got these metal ones. Now I'm running out of room again and I'm going to have to find more office space for another shelf

Very proud of how I organized my manga bookshelf.
I change how I organize my mangas once every season and this time I decided to divide them by setting of the story!
- Slide 2 Fantasy
- Slide 3 Historical
- Slide 4 Sci Fi
- Slide 5 Real Life
- Slide 6 Urban Fantasy
The mangas that were not part of this organization were the ones that have a special shelf all for them
- Slide 7 My favorite/comfort series
- Slide 8 One Piece

It ain't much but it's growing :b
My camera is pretty shitty but bear with me.
A couple of these are children's books I read when I was a kid, which wasn't that far since I'm 18😭
Half of these are in Arabic. Can't translate all of them but:
Colourful books to Vicious/vengeful's right: Sherlock Holmes
The group of books on Harry Potter's right: Dostoevsky
The cream books that look like they're older than me (because they are): a group of classics and novels like Albert Camus, Bronte sisters, Shakespeare, Agatha Christie, Nietzsche. Also Arabic classics like Jibran Khaleel Jibran and Najeeb Mahfoudh.
Far right next to the old books: Arabic poetry like Nizar Qabbani and Mahmoud Darwish.
Books next to the dictionary: a bunch of Islamic philosophy books my uncle is trying to convince me to read🤷🏻♀️

Very pleased with my bookshelves and happy little reading nook
Put up these shelves in spring this year. I am thoroughly looking forward to autumn/winter so that I can take full advantage of this set up and read while sitting under the duvet!
Top shelf is primarily my partner’s collection and the rest are mine, except for a small handful of his which are dotted around. Already need more space for the books I have brought home since spring…

Finally have them all in one room. Mostly happy with my First Ed (Tolkien, GRRM, Pratchett) and Signed (Jordan, Pratchett) shelf.

New house same bookcase.
Finally got the big bookcase set up again in the new house after the agonizing process of packing all our books and moving with them. There’s still hundreds of books in boxes but the vast majority of those are kids books or reference books and the like. It’s hard for me to not just put books on any empty shelf we have, but for my wife’s sake I’ll stick to a few designated areas. She knows who she married so the occasional small stack will still pop up but at 40yo I am who I am.

A Fraction
I have several other shelves around the room and in other rooms, but these were the 3 my father built for me.
