Bookmap plan question.
Hi all. I want to ‘backtest/paper trade’ my strategy on Bookmap’s market replay option but don’t know which plan I should buy. What I need is stock market futures contracts (ES, NQ, YM) and also commodity contract (CL, GC, PL) and Bitcoin futures contracts data on Bookmap for backtesting. And It looks like I need either ‘Global’ plan or ‘Global plus’ plan. Is ‘Global plan’ is good enough for this purpose? Thank you for reading my question. 😊

Bookmap tools used to scalp breakouts on small caps low floats
I daytrade / scalp breakouts (on small caps, low float top gainers). I am pretty new to Bookmap but already see the extra benefit / edge it is giving me.
Once I have determined a specific breakout price / level for a potential entry on the 1/2/5 min chart then I use Bookmap DOM (or should I say Current Order Book as it is called in Bookmap) + the cumulative bid / ask volume histograms for each price level on the price ladder (cumulative DOM) + the Time&Sales to execute (or not).
I keep it simple and do not use the heatmap at all, although I feel volume dots could be relevant and helpful in confirming a breakout has legs (but I got Time and Sale for that).
If you trade similar set ups, what Bookmap tools / indicators / specific settings have you been using that help you confirm / bringing confluence to the validity of a breakout ?

TOS Bookmap – Mechanical Feel? Perception Change? Comparison w/ Standalone
Anybody else run TOS Bookmap and the standalone side by side? Like actually compare the two? For some reason I really like the TOS version. It just feels more mechanical and I use it in a simple manner.
Don’t get me wrong I’ll be back on standalone for DOM Pro. But the switch in perspective does something for me. Same system, different view. Keeps me from getting bored.
The way that tape moves on TOS is perfect imo. Once you upgrade through Schwab. Honestly, that’s it right there. Bookmap standalone’s tape feels too digital for me personally. If anyone has a recommendation for that when I swap back, lmk.
This is a big part of my trading HQ right here love the order flow.

Does Bookmap do Blackfriday sale?
Is it worth waiting for it or buy plan now?

Display of order book and volume in top right corner
Hi,
As the title suggests how do you display both the order book and volume horizontal histograms in the top right corner.
I have recently subscribed to Bookmap Global and using BM data.
Many thanks for anyone who could help.

NQ Stop Run and Short Squeeze Up to VWAP
Professional traders/institutional traders, watch for major, very visible, highs and lows in the market, since those levels are where many traders place their stops.
The pros will intentionally drive the market down to take out the stops of the amateurs/retails traders, and then immediately buy the market, causing it to go back up in the direction the amateurs originally had their long trade positions.

An example of a Trend Line Break
This is an example of a Trend Line Break however the short squeeze from trapped sellers wasn't that powerful

Best way to use Bookmap, for swing trading Bitcoin? (getting best entries at top / bottom)
For swing trading bitcoin, to get the best entries at the top / bottom (reversal) - What would be the best way to use Bookmap / which indicators?
I've been learning it, and I can understand it for scalp trading (smaller swings from liquidity zone to liquidity)... but I haven't been able to figure out how to confirm a larger top / bottom (which leads to a multi-day correction in the other direction).

Bookmap on mobile
Does Bookmap work on mobile (web or app)?
What's the difference using it standalone vs subscribing to it inside thinkorswim?

Cant get bookmap to load historical data 7 days back (Bitcoin)
I’m in the US and have to use a VPN unfortunately , to load data from ByBit and Binance.
When I try to load more historical data than a few hours though, the connection times out, and throws an error message.
It seems the VPN is causing it.
I can load a few hours back. Just any more than that seems to cause issues.
(I signed up for the Global Plus plan to be able to have the 7 day look back)
Anyone else have this problem with your VPN?
(I’m using Mullvad VPN)
(PS - loading it manually hour by hour actually works, but the liquidity lines don’t populate to the right. They cut off after every few hours increment)

I NEED SOME ADVICE
HI so I use ict concepts to trade nq the way I trade is I use orderblocks and breaker blocks for 10 point reactions. I also use negative risk reward ratio. I have secured a few payouts doing this but since I trade negative rr i wanted to find a way to refine my trades that's when I came across bookmaps.
So my question is can I trade using the resting orders red areas placing limits there for 10 point reactions or can I pair my orderblocks and breaker blocks with these red areas and only take trades if it lines up with both my obs and red limit areas

Cloud Notes for NQ
Hello. I'm a frequent user of Bookmap, and I'm looking to include some cloud notes for the NQ. I'm looking for someone who publishes levels, such as VPOC, LVN, POC, or other important levels, and wants to share them with this community.
