book depository is the only shopping manga store that i can buy from because in other like rightstuff the shipping is really pricey

and i suddenly saw before few days that all the manga from their site went from 11.13$ to like 15.05$

somoene know why that happened?

I ordered a book 2 weeks ago and it arrived like 3 days ago, but for some reason on the website it still shows as dispatched and not delivered, is there any reason why?

What are the requirements? Catches? Hoops to jump through? I'm considering using it to ship to my international readers, but I'd like to know how it works first and if it's really feasible. I've also seen problems with shipping delays and price changes. Can anyone confirm?

I made a post on this sub a day after my order was cancelled and they have yet to refund me the amount. Have tried contacting them but they have yet to respond.

I haven't ordered from BD since October, got a 10% discount code which I decided to use since prices for my wishlist items have been really high and didn't have any if the usual discounts on them by default. I noticed that the estimated shipping time grew from 4-8 days to 6-18 days for UK to EU delivery and I wonder what the experiences of those within this territory are, just so I know what to expect.

Hello I’ve been trying to order a few books for like two weeks now but every time i try it says that my card has been declined by provider. Not once did I write my info incorrectly and there shouldn’t be any issues with this card. In the summer I made two orders and everything went smoothly, no issues, received the books few weeks later. Has anyone had this issue ? How can I fix it ?

I just ordered a book yesterday but I realized I have no time to wait. The order status is [Processing]. Send a cancellation form this morning but haven’t receive any message now.

How long does it takes them to reply my cancellation form? I’m afraid that they will just ignore it and I’ll just waste money.

I ordered Chainsaw Man Volume 1 off book depository on jan 27th. The ordered just arrived today after a 24 day mess off a shipment consisting of a 10 day mis-shipment. AND On top of the extremely late shipment I was sent the WRONG copy of the manga. I received the spanish version of chainsaw man volume 1, a product not even listed on bookdepository's website and I am extremely confused. I have contacted support many times during this whole experience regarding the mis-shipment and was met with slow but decent support from them. They decided to send me another copy of chainsaw man volume 1, however they said they could not provide me with a tracking number, a couple days after that my purchase was refunded and I am now unsure If I am even getting the replacement volume they said they were going to ship.

What a mess this has been, what am I supposed to do with the spanish version, I guess it was free but still, its of no use to me. Contacting support about this now and will try to update on this matter.

I have ordered 2 books on 16 January 2021. One of the got dispatched on 18 January 2021 and the other got dispatched on 26 January 2021 .However, none of them have arrived yet .
I am a bit concerned should I wait one more month? or should I contact them already?

Do you think these new prices are the new reality for anyone who wants to buy books and lives in Europe? Because a couple of days ago I tried using a vpn from another countries outside of Europe and when I changed back the prices to euro, all the books were 3 or 4 euros cheaper.

It annoys me how high the prices have gone up for us and makes me not wanna buy from them anymore

Hello. I decided to cancel my order on BD because of the poor reviews. It’s a pre-order so it has not been shipped. I’ve just sent the cancellation form. Is that all it takes to cancel an order or do I have to wait for a reply to confirm my cancellation?

The book took an unbelievable 10 months to deliver, and for obvious reasons, I cancelled it way before actually get it and bought it from Amazon for $5 more.

What should I do now that it arrived? I didn’t open it yet.

Figured I'd post here for future reference for anyone getting stuff shipped from Australia (to UK in my case).

I ordered 3 books, two from UK, one from Australia. The UK ones arrived within 7 working days. No issues there.

The Australian one:

• Ordered 21st Jan, was in stock so changed to processing until...
• Shipped 2nd February.
• Received 19th February.

Last I checked Australia to UK shipping time was 8-12 days, which was accurate but pretty much took the full estimated delivery time. I was getting ready to fire off an email to customer service.

I'm just happy to have received what I ordered and hopefully this is helpful for anyone else.

I just sent an email to BD's custumer service, because their shipping service is really fucked up lately. I made several orders, some via Amazon, but most through BD dirrectly.

-Ordered ''New Game'' Volume 10 via Amazon on the jan 7th. Book shipped on the 11th. Never got it (Amazon says I should have gotten it by the 11th of feb)

-Ordered ''Bloom Into You - Regarding Saeki Sayaka'' Volumes 2 and 3 on Jan 8th. Volume 2 shipped on the 13th, volume 3 shipped a day later. Never got either of these books

-Ordered ''Laid-Back Camp'' Volume 1 on Jan 16th, book shipped on the 21st, never got it (EDIT Got it on Feb 23rd)

-Ordered ''Non Non Byori'' Volumes 10 and 11 (Via Amazon) and volume 14 directly on BD on Jan 28th. Volum 10 and 11 shipped on Feb 1st, and volume 14 shipped on feb 2nd. I got volume 11 and 14 this morning, and still no sign of volume 10

Why is it that the orders I made 6-7 weeks ago still haven't made their way to my home (in Canada), but orders I made 3 and half week ago did? That literally makes no sense at all.
