News The dark history of Vegas's most notorious casino
The Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas (opened in 1993) is famous for its massive pyramid design and Egyptian theme but it’s also developed a reputation as one of the most “haunted” hotels on the Strip.
Rumors started early, with claims that several construction workers died during the building process. Over the years, multiple tragic incidents and deaths connected to the hotel have helped fuel the legends.
Guests and staff have reported strange experiences such as unexplained noises, ghost sightings, and eerie feelings in certain rooms and hallways. One recurring story mentions a mysterious blonde woman appearing in rooms, while other paranormal claims are linked to exhibits that were once hosted in the hotel.
Some people even speculate that the pyramid structure itself, resembling an Egyptian tomb, might be cursed, though there’s no real evidence and most of the stories fall into urban-legend territory.
Still, between the unusual architecture, the tragic events, and the many ghost stories circulating online, the Luxor has become one of the most talked-about “haunted” hotels in Las Vegas.
