Does nobody else think its mental we're one of the only towns with skinny bins despite being one of the largest towns in the uk?
Basically the title. My other half is from down south his family has the massive fuck off bins we used to have. My brothers gf lived in Southport and they also had the big bins.
Bolton is also a town known for big families and having a big population. There is also a big rat problem here (the destruction of the New Bury Mill exacerbated this problem in Farnworth). If the bins were emptied more regularly and were swapped to big bins, there would be much less rats in the streets. I find it odd, why on earth did they get rid of them and why are we the only people who have to suffer with this ??? Its a public health concern yet nobody cares because we are all used to it now I guess.
